★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I have come here many times and haven't had any problems. However tonight was extremely disappointing and we will not be coming back. To be clear, we are not people to complain, so this should speak to how bad this experience was.
I ordered a steak cooked medium, and they brought one out cooked rare. Not medium rare...RARE. So of course I asked them to fix it, they saw the steak and understood. A manger came over and apologized. no problem.
we proceeded to wait for 25 MINUTES (imagine that) before they brought a second steak while my boyfriend is patiently waiting for my food to come we could eat together, which meant his food got cold, and so was my side order. easy problem that should've taken 3-5 minutes that took almost half an hour. Most restaurants can deal with this easily, but oh my word.
The second steak was cooked EXACTLY the same, literally bleeding meat in the middle because of how red it was. Just obviously not medium cooked. All that wait for nothing. Next thing I know the cook proceeds to tell me that medium and rare look the same, its just "cultural difference" as I'm from America and we are particular about our steak...good one. also, all of society can agree that rare steak and medium steak are almost opposite. Anyways.
Meanwhile the "manager" comes to our table again and as we're catching him up on the problem (who had nothing to say, mind you), the cook proceeds to OVERCOOK my steak to well done (you can see them cooking on a cart they bring beside your table). not only that, but I looked over at the nearby kitchen and about 4 kitchen workers are staring at our table during the whole mess which just feels humiliating as clients just wanting to come and enjoy a date. so we've got the cook, the manager surrounding our table, and kitchen staff staring at our table. It quickly became a public service announcement that we were having trouble. Word spreads quickly apparently. and not because we ourselves were making a scene, I can promise you that.
My boyfriend was so over it he just ate cold food as it was obvious proper client care is not something they value. not to mention they had to bring our 3 bowls of mashed potatoes for me before one was finally hot. what the HELL. why is it so hard?
ITS SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN EASY SOLUTION TO EASY PROBLEM that ended up taking 45 minutes to fix. Literally a meer apology; and no gestures to make up for what happened. no discount for the undercooked and then overcooked steak, no free desert for waiting an extra 45 minutes...nothing offered. we paid 600 pesos for cold food. and of course the manager didn't bring the typical protocol iPad so we could leave a review after everything was done. In fact, he didn't even let our server bring the check because he was obviously nervous I would ask for a discount. they are SO concerned about getting their money they'll screw over customers in the process. (In fact, when you ask for cheaper steaks, they'll tell you they don't have it and bring a tray of their most expensive meat so they can up sell. Happens every time.)
Unfortunately for them, they didn't realize I could see the manager and our server in the reflection of the window with them looking at me and my boyfriend eating while they we're chatting away about us. and when I would look back, they would nervously turn away. Idiotic drama and an unprofessional environment.
I was almost in tears when I finally got my food because it was just so overwhelming at how one undercooked steak turns into such a humiliating mess. What was supposed to be a special night we were excited for turned into horrible service and zero assistance from the manager. If you care about a cut of meat being paid for more than you care about your customers being taken care of...quit your job. We deserve better. Will not be going back.
If you go to eat there, pray they don't screw it up or you will be screwed over yourself. And if they get the food right, know that they still value that plate of food over you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy Burgers and homemade lemonades. Also serve steaks, ribs and other stuff. We had burgers and some kind of tortillas as a starter. Burgers are made the way you design them, you just need to tick the box on a list. Excellent service and good pricing. We paid around 12 US $ each for our meal.
