★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is amazing ..so cozy and special made! is like you are home .. perfect service ,,you have a kitchen with living room and upstairs a hughe bathroom with a cozy bedroom ..one of the best accommodations I stayed around Mexico ..I would come back any time ..I can highly recommend this place to stay .. You'll get more than you paid for it .. regards

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Evoide this hotel. The owner doesn´t know what the hospitality is. He insulted me and my family beacuse we have been waiting for him under the rain in front of his hotel closed. Espacially, if you possess french citizenship, be prapered you will be insulted because the owner doesn´t like french people. Because of his "welcome" we had to shorten our stay in its lovely city...Such a pity

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made reservation through booking.com. Subsequently, received message to immediately message back a photo id. I called and spoke with the hotel asking whether I could show my id on arrival and was told that that would be fine. Upon arrival at the hotel, the front door was locked, I announced myself and showed my id via a camera. However, the person told me I could not enter since I had not sent the id earlier and mouthed obscenities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unwelcoming and rude hotel. It is definitely the worst experience I have had for the last 15 years.
And they have uncomplete information on their site. It does not state that you cannot arrive directly at the hotel and need to walk by foot (and with luggage!!) many stairs.
The hotel informed me about this after I booked. Due to the amount of my luggage, this was not ok for me and I wanted to cancel the reservation. They did not allow it. I felt trapped. They also said, I should not assume they have bellboy who can help me with my luggage.
Yet I was reminded 3 times to give tip when I am there.
Since they deleted my reservation on booking, I could not provide a review there.
The whole tone of communication was aggressive, not respectful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner kicked us out after we complained about TWO doors that are not lockable from the terrace. So everyone from other apartments could enter our place. How you got treated there is a joke and not worth the stress. Still today waiting for the refund. If you wanna have a peaceful stay in San Cristobal choose any other place. Extracosts for almost everything!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel in a great location. Giving 3 stars because they told us we can drink their tap water because of their special filtration system. We were subsequently up the entire night puking our guts out with no drinkable water. Don't drink the water and you'll be fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never experienced such an unwelcoming stay. Before even checking in we got multiple long lists of what were allowed to do and what not, how the coffee machine costs x pesos to use, and how we would be procecuted if we didn't pay for any stains on the bed sheets and how they would come after us with police reports and SRE is notified. Add all the surveillance cameras to that and it doesn't feel very welcoming. It felt like they were watching over and counting every step we would take in the place. Once I went outside the door in socks, glad they didn't see it or we would have been kicked out according to their rules. The place has very bad sound insulation and you can hear the neighbours watching TV or walking around. Don't even think about inviting someone over, as they want to register every guest and kick them out after dark.
That being said, the place is super lovely. Beautiful design and comfortable beds. Drinkable tap water and luxurious showers. If you want to pay a little fortune you can even heat up the place with the gas fire place. Definitely a cosy retreat from a cold day in San Cristóbal.
