★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow ... What a wonderful surprise in Chapala. Fresh & delicious Indian food. Kadhai Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo & Papadum. Rare find in México. Will return for another mouth watering lunch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Someone told me there are two Indian restaurants in the Chapala/Ajijic area; Magnolias and Indian Curry. I visited both of them recently. Honestly, I didn't want to do a review on this restaurant because of the sob story they told us about their business being slow. Instead of begging us to give them a five star rating on Google they should try to improve their less than average food, menu and flavor. In my opinion Indian Curry has a better flavor and taste than this restaurant. I am done with the restaurants that have a feel sorry for us syndrome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owned and operated by a lovely and talented Indian / Mexicana couple. Excellent curry dishes! The samosas and butter chicken are among the best I’ve ever tasted. We will certainly become regular customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The second visit. The food was great. Service was great. The only suggestion is that they put a menu of the food available that day on their chalkboard board. They have one for their many drinks but not for their daily menu. It would be easier to read the day's fare than to rely on your hearing--foregn words of Indian cuisine said to a person with poor hearing. There is a menu listed online but not available at either early afternoon visit. I will definitely visit this place again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is excellent and made with care. Authentic and delicious. Everything is made from scratch. The previous posting by "James" must be a fake review as I have been to Magnolias or ordered from Magnolias at least 20 times in the last few months. It has been amazing and consistent every time. I have never been asked for a review, so I know they definitely did not "beg" for a review or tell some sob story. Definitely a fake paid review.
