We choose to dive with Jorge and his team because of the lonely Planet recommendation and it was totally worth it. I contacted Jorge via WhatsApp and the dives were easily reserved and communication was super helpful. Both, the capitan Roger and Leo on the boat helped to make the dive as pleasant as it was. Norma helped with all the equipment and we can only recommend the team of Mahahual Dive Centre! Thanks for an awesome day diving and talking with you! I would definitely go back

Norma and her staff are amazing!! We had quite a diverse group and everyone really enjoyed the honest and extensive knowledge of the area and equipment. And they really care. I am a Rescue diver and appreciated their positive attitude and business accumen. I will be back again!

I did the Rescue Diver certification with Jorge and Akira from Mahahual Dive Center. An all around great experience. The instructors were professional and to the point with clear explanation and true enthusiasm and respect for the sea and diving. And great people to hand around between the dives. Everyone spoke good english and they have been diving here for over 10 years. Much recommended.

We choose MDC because of the reviews and because you don't have to be certified to dive with them they certify you. My wife was extremely nervous and Norma our instructor was beyond amazing. I can't say it enough Norma made us feel like this was a walk in the park, and took extensive time with my wife. That being said the rest of the team was also amazing. Jorge which was our point of contact through WhatsApp answered all our questions before we even arrived at the dock with our cruise in Costa Maya. The captain and everyone else were just so comforting, it just felt right they took really good care of us. Wouldn't have it any other way, and will hopefully be back to finish my certification.

A great experience with super nice instructors. They are extremely respectful and cautious with the environment. Very nice equipment in case you don’t have your own and always helpful. Went diving many times and always had fun!
