Maiavé Spa - 48333 Puerto Vallarta

Over all good experience. My only concern was with the staff being insistent on the time and interrupting us while we were enjoying the sauna.

They offered a hydro session with our stay and it was fantastic! I left feeling rejuvenated and my skin was very soft! My mom had a massage and said it was great as well.

They have private rooms with AC and the oils used are relaxing. Due to the pandemic, they took precautions like wearing masks and letting us watch them use new sheets including a sterile covers. The massage therapists that work here are no joke. They know exactly where the sore spots are. We immediately regretted getting a 45 minutes massages and when Natyalia (sp?) and Romano we immediately demanded to know if they are free tomorrow for 90 minutes. They not only said yes, but offered us a special rate! So glad they are open and a true reward.

My experience with Maiave Spa in Sheraton Buganvilias Resort was amazing. We were able to get in on a February Valentines special that came with a 60 minute couples massage, 45 minute soak in the Jacuzzi tub, a very nice romantic candle light dinner and all sorts of drinks. (Normally it would have been wine and champagne but we do not drink so they accommodated us with some really great fruit drinks that were amazing). I have nothing to compare it to as this is the first time I have done something like this. I have had just a normal 60 minute massage back in the states but this was incredible. It was very relaxing. The staff did a phenomenal job catering to our every need. We would definitely do it again.

This is one of the best spas I've been to internationally. I booked a facial and body scrub but you get to check in an hour early to do 1hr of hydrotherapy. That consists of the steam room, sauna, cold plunge pool, some sort of rock pool and this massive jacuzzi. In terms of the comment listed below saying they are insistent in regards to time, you set the time for your hydrotherapy and they come in and get you out the steam room or sauna based off of what you tell them. They also have to make sure you finish in time to get to you actual appointment which only makes sense. I had no complaints at all. All of the staff from checking in to the young woman who walked me through hydrotherapy to the esthetician were all amazing. Sadly I waited until the end of my trip to book but I highly recommend checking this place out if your'e in Puerto Vallarta!

Amazing experience!! My wife and I received the most wonderful spa treatment at Maiavé. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. From the moment you walk in, they truly make you feel like you’re the only customers they have that day (a few times I actually wondered if that was the case but we did see other customers around). Brenda and Karen are absolutely phenomenal and took fantastic care of us. We left feeling clean, relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated. It’s a bit more pricey but if you can swing it, do yourself and your partner a favor and book the tropical experience at Maiavé, I promise you will not regret it. 10/10 definitely recommend!
