The bœuf bourguignon was cooking level 0 :
Canned tomatoes, canned mushrooms and flask onions put together. I rarely have to say that a dish was bad but this one was truly awful, let alone the fact that it was not bœuf bourguignon. Service was unimpressive.
Forgot to say : reviewed by a French connoisseur.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first sight it’s beautiful. After the initial enchantment you realize the many things that are wrong. Starting with the room. The mattress is old, the shears were dirty, there was a spot of what looked like blood on them. The mosquito door net was ripped which made it imposible to sleep. But what was the worse, I was eaten by bedbugs. Yes, we paid $600 dollars for 3 night for BEDBUGS! The furniture was old and filthy, not boho chic, just old. The restaurant had the most terribly bland food options. We ordered eggs for breakfast and they were drenched in oil. The pool is beautiful but they have no protection for the mosquitos. I will never return and will never advise anyone to visit. It’s a shame because it has lots of potential.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautifully designed hotel situated in the middle of orange, lime and banana groves. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. The food is tasty, the wait staff is attentive and friendly. The only drawback is that the WiFi service does not work very well. I would definitely visit again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is lovely and the food is really good. The only problem is that if you go when the guests are eating you will be served last. The kitchen is really small and only one person can cook at a time, so our dinner took more than 1 hour and a half to arrive. Best recommendation is to call first and ask for Agustin, the restaurant manager.
Edit: we went back to the restaurant and everything was perfect. Our food arrived on time and was really delicious. We made a reservation and we're the only ones there so we didn't wait at all.
