Maison Tulum - 77780 Tulum

Such a nice, unique, friendly, welcoming, quiet hotel. Guillermo was a great host, attentive and kind. They had a cafe but we were too consumed by the town that we didn't eat there... Looked good though. The hammock line upstairs is such a nice location. The rooms' amenities were all that we needed, the AC worked as did the showers and toilet. The cleaning service was prompt and efficient.

This is a marvelous place, with the best atmosphere, a great little Cafe and the friendliest staff I've ever met. I've stayed here on trip to tulum at least 5 times in the last 5 years, highly recommended it and it keeps getting better ever stay. The rooms are clean and unique and the beds are comfortable. Would stay agiain.

While Tulum was not for me, I loved my stay at Maison Tulum. It’s clean and safe (with a locked gate) but the best part by far is the owner, Flor. I arrived a bit early and the cafe was closed. While I waited for my room, she offered me an ice cold coke on ice and then sent me a list of things to do and see via WhatsAPP. She is a wealth of knowledge and works tirelessly to make sure all her guests feel at home and have a wonderful stay. She introduced me to another lovely solo traveler and suggested that we rent a car to do a day tour of nearby ruins (Coba which are a must!) and some local cenotes. She booked the entire thing and had the car delivered to the property and arranged for the pickup as well. It could not have been a nicer experience. The location is also great just two blocks off the main drag but also very quiet. There is a relaxing terrace with hammocks to be enjoyed at the end of a (hot!) day too.

Our host Flor was absolutely fantastic and offered help each day for activities to do around the area. She was very attentive to her guests. The hotel was charming and had a personal touch of a "home away from home". The room had all needed facilities for your stay and if you required anything else you could just ask Flor. The location is perfect for restaurants and exploring other areas around Tulum.

We spent an entire week at Maison Tulum and it was such a positive experience. Flor and Miguel are amazing hosts and made sure we were taken care of. The hotel room was perfect for us, Flor upgraded us as we were there for a long time and we appreciated it so much. The room was on the second floor which we preferred, had an electronic kitchen which included a little oven, blender, fridge and kitchen utensils and has a little table where you can eat. They have water available which was very convenient and a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a siesta on one of the three hammocks available. The decor of the hotel is beautiful, it makes you feel like you aren’t downtown Tulum at all, but the location was perfect. Two blocks from Tulum Avenue and is close to absolutely everything you need. Flor answered all my questions so quickly and was extremely accommodating when my husband broke his ankle on our second to last day. She has many great recommendations and offered to help set up any activities. Downstairs is Cafe Isabelle which has great food and amazing service. So convenient for breakfast everyday. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!
