Our 4th year of visiting. The staff is wonderful, they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We stay in a bungalow (breakfast incleded) just steps from the beach where there are more pelicans than people! Lots of beach walking, great authentic food (caught right in front of the hotel(ask if there is a special for dinner). Peaceful and quiet with activities they can arrange for you like kayaking, horseback riding, turtle release etc. Or you can go into Troncones via the beach or taxi, or into Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo by taxi. The locals are friendly and patient with us non Spanish speakers. It's hard to leave every time we come.

Very nice people . Wonderful covered dining area with open sides looking.out at the pool and ocean. Clean large rooms w/AC and refrigerator in ours. At end of road about one mile from tiny village, 3 miles total from Troncones. We were there around Easter and place full of nice guiet Mexican families. Would go here again.

My husband and I had never really been to Mexico before and by the time we had traveled from the Northwest US down to our destination, we were pretty well wiped out. Add to that renting a car and learning the ins and outs of driving in Mexico our desire for new experiences had nearly topped out for the day, until we turned the corner towards the beach and entered our destination, lovely and green and perfectly landscaped, Majahua Palms Resort. From that moment on we continued to enjoy two weeks of the best times of our lives. Between the hospitality of our hosts, Benito, his wife, Eri and the wonderful and refreshing friendliness of all the crew there we felt like we had adopted or been adopted into a new family. Along with the amazing cuisine, which we sampled for almost all our meals, and the beautiful grounds, and most impressively, the beach with its surf, multitude of Pelicans and other avian and sea life we were sure we had made the right choice in our location for vacationing. Rustic and romantic bungalows or airconditioned suites, the resort had everything covered. Each morning we would awaken to a carafe of delicious coffee just waiting for us on the veranda of our suite. And after the included very yummy breakfast, always accompanied with fresh local fruit, we would shuffle our completely happy selves up the beach for a short stroll to the fishing village of Majahua and back before collapsing by the poolside for some serious further relaxation. Our only task was to decide which local seafood we would be having that evening! The resort never felt crowded and we welcomed talking with fellow vacationers and noticed that visitors arrived from the beach, having walked or driven from their places nearby or in Troncones to enjoy the well-known fare. Thankfully, all the local people we met were friendly and helpful and we always felt very safe and welcome. Majahua Palms is unspoiled and was just the ticket for us. We will be back soon, for sure. Holly and Bo B We will be back soon, for sure.

What a wonderful surprise this resort was. Benito the manager and his staff, Edie, Servando, Omar and the rest of the staff made our short stay very pleasant. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and want to return again and again. This place is a gem tucked away in Majahua, Troncones. The food was delicious, the service amazing, the staff always smiling and the icing on the cake was waking up in the morning to see a carafe of coffee waiting outside the door of our cozy hut that was tastily done in Mexican decor. The pool is the nicest we've seen in Ixtapa/Zihua and faces the ocean. This truly is a piece of heaven. Thank you so much Benito for treating us like royalty.

This was my second stay at Majahua Palms. I brought my partner along this time to experience the incredible staff, food, chill vibes and (of course) yoga!! I really can’t say enough about how magical this spot is. The last reviewer (Lynn) captured the details very well, so I will try to just add a few things. The staff at MP treated us like family. We felt safe, welcome and had our needs met in such kind and sweet ways. They learned our names and preferences which I feel goes above and beyond. They’ve added additional healthy choices to their menu and really offer a nice variety. We loved the green smoothies and natural unsweetened yoghurt! The addition of evening specials was a nice treat and delicious- big shout out to Ari and the kitchen crew ? The whole resort is so well cared for and BEAUTIFUL! It’s very clear that Bonito and his crew care deeply about the experience they want to offer the folks that vacation there. This resort is ideal for a small retreat- everything you need is present and the little towns of Majahua and Tracones have quite a few little gems that add to the loveliness of this area. A few things to keep in mind in case it matters to you: -They have an apartment that has aircon but the bungalows can be quite warm when the season is hot (fans are provided) -Bungalows have heavy wood shutters but you may experience a critter (this was not at all a deterrent for us) -This beach is wonderful to walk on and you can play in the water or boogie board. It’s not a snorkeling/swimming area (but MP pool is perfect!) Love love love this spot and can’t wait to return in 2023 ?

We had a misunderstanding about booking.com charges and the owner plus the staff at Majahua Palms managed everything with utmost authenticity and care. From then on, our stay in a ocean facing room was nothing less than perfect! We didn’t know what to expect but we found a very warm atmosphere of human connection with the staff and with the other guests as well as a completely wild, long white sand beach! We took long walks everyday and walked to a few of the restaurants at the start of Majahua Bay to meet friends. None of the other restaurants compared to what we had for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort. For breakfast, we thoroughly enjoyed the healthy green drinks and the flavorful, saucy chiliquiles or egg specials. Lunch consisted of salads, guacamole and salsas, all exceptional for us vegetarians. For dinner one night they made us lobster Chile Rellenos with rice and plantain that were out of this world! They make such good sauces for everything. The people at the next table we’re enjoying their own fresh caught mackerel with their margaritas! The restaurant is definitely a highlight of the place, but so is the pool, sunsets on the beach, the yoga studio upstairs and the rooms themselves. I recommend a multi-day stay at Majahua Palms to anyone who’s considering it. It’s worth the price in everyway!

Where the jungle meets the ocean. Warm friendly staff met our every need. Some of the best food in the troncones area. No traffic noise or loud music. A nature lovers paradise. We stay different places during our annual vacation to the area and always spend most of our time at majahua palms. If you are coming to the area but staying elsewhere at least try the restaurant. You will not be disappointed with the food nor the ambiance.

Beautiful place with gorgeous views overlooking the ocean from the open dining area and pool. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent. Breakfast is included and was always very good. We ordered green drinks every morning. We had an excellent lobster Chile Relleno for dinner. The room was clean, spacious, provided clean drinking water, comfortable beds and an amazing view of the ocean. Lovely to go to sleep by the waves each night. Majahua Palms is very relaxing, quiet, has a long beach to walk, gorgeous sunsets. You can walk on the beach to the town of Majahua. They have an upstairs outdoor palapa area to do yoga.
