★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hotel. Delicious food and drinks! Rooms are clean, spacious. I loved the ecological cosmetic products. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to central Tulum and all the street foods and shops. I felt like I’m in my second home. I regret I didn’t booked this hotel for the whole stay in Tulum. The nana bar on the top of the hotel is a cherry on top. I meet amazing people over there. ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make sure you book Maka when go to Tulum as it's absolutely amazing place where to be. Food was top, lovely staff and beautiful, comfy room where we felt like home straight away. That vibe over there is something else and only mistake we did was, that we didn't book in for whole stay. Honestly, we were so disappointed for the rest of the trip as we never felt so good anywhere like we felt in Maka. My experience with Mexico is deeply connected with this place and I'm looking forward to be back. Look no further guys ??…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hotel should be a place for the residents to rest and sleep, but this hotel somehow had a party at the upper stair during the whole night and didn’t stop until around midnight. How can we have a nice sleep here? What’s worse, the dog in the hotel will bark in the early morning, so you will be waken up early and can’t have a long quiet sleep. Also there’s literally no Wi-Fi during our stay, which is terrible. The room is also pretty small - both bedroom and bathroom, and nearly no space for you to hang your clothes or towels. The staffs are friendly though and the decorations outside the room are beautiful, but still I won’t recommend this place for your stay, unless you just want to enjoy a good view here…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is very loud and hard to sleep due to the music upstairs. Our room had SO MANY mosquitos it was crazy, I wonder if the cleaning staff keep all the doors open while cleaning? There are a few still water areas for aesthetics which breed mosquitos and made for an uncomfortable stay.
Don't be fooled by "boutique hotel" it seems that all places in Tulum call themselves that without providing much value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pool area is so nice, we basically had the place to ourselves. The beds are comfy and rooms are a good size! Big shower which was good. There is music but we didn’t mind. It’s in a good location to plenty of food spots and bars around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel looks amazing. The bed was extremely comfy but don’t stay here if you want any sleep! They have parties on Wednesdays, fridays and Sundays. The music was so loud our bed was vibrating from the bass. Even on the “non party nights” the music in the bar was very loud. Unless you plan on partying until 2:30am then book somewhere else! When I spoke to the receptionist about how loud the music was she just laughed at us. Would never stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately very mixed feelings about this place. But the negatives more than outweigh the positives.
Positives:
Most of the staff are lovely. Others are incredibly unhelpful and shouldn’t be in customer facing roles.
The breakfast was incredible - our best breakfast so far in Mexico.
The bed is nice and the shower is great.
The outdoor decor is beautiful.
Negatives:
Pool area is tiny and doesn’t catch any sun at all - unfortunately this meant that we just didn’t use the area, which is a shame because the decor really is stunning.
They have incredibly strict rules about noise levels made my customers, however, we kept up all night because of the music. The issue isn’t necessarily that there is a club - the issue is that the rooms are not at all sound proof. The volume of the club music is the same whether your doors are open or closed. Not a place to stay if you want to relax in any way. The music started at 6pm. We did ask if in the afternoon the music could be turned down as we’d just arrived from a long drive and wanted to relax, knowing that there would later be party, but the receptionist told me that I should have read the reviews and seen that it’s a loud hotel. Incredibly frustrating when they have signs plastered around the place stressing the importance of not bothering other guests with loud music or speaking… the music stopped at 1am, however, we kept up for another hour with the noise of people speaking outside.
On their booking page, it states that parking is available and that it can be reserved through the hotel. A few occasions where there wasn’t any parking and when we questioned reception about reserved parking, they stated that the spaces weren’t reserved… frustrating because their booking page says otherwise, as does whoever it was we spoke with about reserving a spot.
Our bathroom was quite dirty. As was the kitchen area, with the stove completely covered in oil and definitely not cleaned since it was last used.
Advice: if you want to relax in any way shape or form, this is not the place for you.
To the hotel, make it clearer on your own page / website / booking page that your guests will hear VERY loud music until 1am, even inside their rooms. It’s definitely not enough to just state that there is a nightclub - this isn’t enough. It is also unacceptable to tell your users that we should have read the reviews… unfortunately we didn’t. But this your guests’ duty to warn of the music, it’s YOURS and yours only. If you don’t think you should warn, at least make the rooms more soundproof. Plenty of hotels have loud bars and clubs yet manage to have quiet bedrooms - take some notes and add some proper doors to the rooms.
