★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the first time I was in this town. Pretty nice the touristic area. The rest of the city is not bad, but you can see how governments do not do enough work to make the whole city look attractive. The "Malecón" is pretty good. The street is clean, the beach is nice and clean, and local people is very friendly. It could be better, but some business owners need a little more imagination and style. This is a great place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While there is still construction happening on the malecon it's all for improving it for the better. You won't be allowed to drive down the malecon anymore, just walk. But they've done a really good job of improving the look of the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolute gem. There is just so much for the eyes to see on this beautiful walk! They seem to add new things to do and see on the Malecon weekly. Set aside a half hour or so and go for a walk on it. You won't be disappointed.
