★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful boardwalk along the coast at Progreso! There are several different places for photos along the way and on the East side of the motor bridge there's lots of restaurants, vendors and shops to stop at. The "I *heart* Progreso" sign is at the far West end and the traditional Mexican city letters for Progreso are on the far East end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Congratulations to Progreso, over the years they have converted a town into a really family mecca. You can enjoy the beautiful walks, sites, shops, sea, sand, hotels. All well planned and designed. Safe and conveniente. Some boutique hotels and restaurants are coming online.
