Al amanecer, el valle de Malinalco se ve como una ensoñación pues las finas gotas del rocío que humedecen los pastos brillan con los primeros rayos del sol. Para penetrar en él basta descender por el camino de las laderas en donde hay magueyes enormes sembrados por entre las milpas secas en el tiempo del solsticio de invierno.
El lugar es muy apacible. En su cielo muy azul vuelan águilas y zopilotes y verlos nos da una sensación de plenitud. El corazón se sosiega hasta estar en completa calma.
Conocer este lugar no es casualidad. El Cosmos elige y atrae a aquellos que ayudan a mantener el orden sagrado.

The coolest magical town to go for the weekend, close to the city, cheap, picturesque, if people are very friendly, it is very safe and with the only monolithic pyramid carved with stone in the whole world, a unique place.

The colourful houses, the culture, that you can feel in every street, every house, every detail and the people there is just WOW... It is a must-go place and if you love such cultural culinary cocktail, please spare more than a day to visit this amazing city. You will not regret it. The road there is a mountain road - curvy and maybe somewhat dangerous due to horses and cows, who might just appear on the road from another curve, but it is totally 100% worth it! And the market day is Wednesday - this is one of a kind market :D!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A trip up the hill to the Eagle warrior temple was a perfect weekend adventure. While I learnt the local history of the temple, I saw amazingly peaceful scenes with a scent of Mexican tourists.
The temple here, is located on top of the hill, carved in stone. Is is supposed to represent the mouth of Aztec earth monster.
It is a beautifully cultural and heritage rich place, with a lot of Local history to ponder over!
