We started our business in January 2020 with one goal in mind:
providing an enjoyable eating and drinking establishment to our neighbors in the 5 de diciembre neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta.
While it was not the easiest time to open a new business, we have happily grown organically through word of mouth and Many return customers

The live music is just as entertaining as the chill ambiance. Now, my friends & I are regulars here. If we don’t visit weekly, we feel voids in our lives. That being said, everyone should visit Mama Caguamas at least once before they die…??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious! Open air dining inside or out. We had the fish tacos, el pastor and papas con curry, all amazing. Plus the salsas are super yummy. The beer assortment is fantastic. We had local Mexican breweries, Buclas and Indecente. Highly recommend for the chill atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beer menu and excellent value cocktails, amazing fish tacos but avoid the fish & chips. Service is friendly, helpful and fairly swift. Stick with the more Mexican foods as these are generally pretty good. Avoid 'americana' menu items.

This place is so welcoming ? live music every night, doesn't close till midnight, you can play games, meet people, and have great time, even if traveling solo ?
Kitchen closes at 10pm, so make sure you order enough food to last you through the show.
