One of the best Mexican Restaurants in Mexico The Mamazzita Tulum is a great place and definitely worth a visit! We've been to many restaurants in Tulum - the Mamazzita was by far the best. Let's start with the place: The Mamazzita a very cool with different kind of tables and launches. We had a big round table on the raised area with a perfect view over the restaurant. The ambience is warm and Mediterranean. Especially in the dark there is a great atmosphere. The place is not quiet, it's a party place! There was a DJ playing loud music all evening. A good mixture of house, hip hop & Mexican music. There where also beautiful & elegant dancers in the restaurant. The food: The Mamazzita offers an extensive selection of Mexican food , interpreted by chef in a modern and sophisticated way. The presentation of the food is very well thought out and appealing. Quality and taste are on a very high international level. Some dishes were close to a Michelin 1 star level. We had a short chat after our dinner with the chef. The service: The service at Mamazzita is extraordinary! We had a reservation (5 people) and arrived about 15 minutes later. The reception was very friendly and we were seated within a very short time. In addition to the head waiter responsible for us, two other waiters were responsible for our table. They were well trained, courteous and yet unobtrusive at all times. We were given professional and personal advice on the selection of food and drinks. All the details we requested were taken into account. Summery: All in all we had a wonderful evening with dinner, drinks and great entertainment! I can warmly recommend the Mamazzita. We'll be back!

Highly recommend!! Mamazzita was such an amazing experience. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The DJ was awesome. We loved the atmosphere. We stopped here after dinner and we wished we went to Mamazzita for dinner instead. I have been recommending this place to all my friends who ask us for recommendations in Tulum. This is the first place I'm stopping when we go back!

It was a nicely decorated restaurant so we decided to go in and eat dinner. First impression besides the decor, the music is loud, but that seems be the theme around here. It's not necessarily an intimate romantic place. We weren't too hungry so we had the rib tacos and the stake tacos both were delicious. We ordered guacamole as an appetizer they prepare it at the table but it was very bland. They have a spanish singer the Tuesday night we went and they try to involve the customer to participate. As the night went on the restaurant pretty much turned into full club mode with songs like WAP by Cardi B in the middle of eating dinner not quite what we expected. As far as service everyone was very attentive and checked on us frequently. It was pricey but not a surprising as this restaurants is group with Taboo, Rosanegra. I wouldn't necessarily go back but don't regret trying it.

Amazing experience! Igor was such a great server. We loved everything he recommended us. Honestly the entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hookah, drinks, food and ambiance was incredible. The DJ and live singer were a great touch. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. I will definitely be coming back !

The vibes were amazing, and the service was great. They even gave me a free dessert for my birthday. The corn soup was amazing. But I ordered the seafood tamale, and the mussels didn’t taste or smell right, I only had one and I’ve been sick for 3 days now. I told the manager that they tasted sour, they asked if I wanted something else and I said no, because I didn’t want to spend money on two dinners. The prawns were over cooked texture of chicken breast, I could barely get the shell off.

Had the most amazing experience tonight at Mamazzita! Herman and Carlos took care of us - they were part of the amazing experience. They were both so attentive and took such good care of us. The ambiance and music were amazing - super cool music from the DJ and performances throughout our meal from dancers and a singer. The music is very loud (but we loved it). Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had!! Barbacoa beef, duck carnitas, guacamole, ribeye… and coconut flan for dessert. This dinner was a full experience!! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing experience. Came for my boyfriends birthday which we decided last minute and from the second we walked in we received the best service. The food was incredible from the complimentary appetizer to the entrees and desserts. We were surprised with a birthday cake and a celebratory dance!! Erby and Tony went above and beyond and made our experience so much more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back!!
