Limited offerings for food and drink and they Nickel & Dime you for everything. Separate fee for entering, towels, etc. It should be one price, all inclusive. However, the Portabella Mushroom was the DA BOMB, but not worth the visit alone. Reef 28 is a better deal.

Expensive food and not worth the money. The service is bad you walk in and they dont even look at you and after eating there you are required to pay 15% tip fixed price. I feel scammed. The place looks run down. I mean with the prices they have on there menu they could al least keep the place decent.

Update: DO NOT PAY WITH CARD, SOMEONE STOLE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION HERE! they told me my card was rejected and they still charged my card after I paid cash. I didn’t have issues anywhere until I came here and mysterious charges started appearing on my credit card. They were a little suspicious as someone said something about my card not being authorized for online transactions. Their cocktails and food are absolutely AWFUL and extremely overpriced for the quality. Around $18 (USD) for a hamburger (no sides) that is basically cheap hamburger meat like if you would find in a McDonalds - but doesn’t even taste half as good. Literally the grossest burger I’ve EVER had in my life and I didn’t have high expectations. The piña colada obviously has cheap rum in it and reminds me of something you’d drink at a frat party with the same bad taste but without alcohol. The music reminded me of lounge music you’d probably hear at a Forever 21. Entrance fee is 300 pesos (~$15 USD). I wasn’t told anything about the consumption minimum like other reviews but I would bet it’s true. If you just want access to a pool by the beach and some lounge chairs without towels or sun shades (as they’ll probably never open them because it will always be windy on the beach) to feel okay about leaving your stuff unattended there, then I’d say it’s worth it. If you must go to this place, do yourself a favor and skip the food and cocktails and stick to beer/wine. The service is pretty meh. I think they’re a bit stuck up. They do circle a total on the receipt that includes a 15% gratuity. You don’t have to tip that much if you don’t want to but you would have to point it out before they run your card. I didn’t particularly care since it’s pretty customary in the U.S to tip. But still going to drag this this place - if they want to charge U.S prices, they should match U.S quality.

Best kept secret in Playa. Best music in Playa. Their service is impeccable. Now, if you want the real secret: they have a great mezcal selection. Definitely a place to go back to.

Absolutely not worth the money. 600pesos cover to use the facilities. The bathrooms weren’t in any usable condition. (Will not go into detail but be sure that it was unpleasant.) Service was ok at best. This spot at the beach looses sun quickly due to the neighboring building. In short: just go somewhere else.

When you try so, so hard to be cool and exclusive, you are inherently not cool. This place is baselessly pretentious, and honestly, just a bunch of jerks. Look at your bill BEFORE you give your card or sign - they tip themselves and charge for everything. Know that you can call your credit card company and dispute charges!! Biggest red flag walking in- totally empty, not one customer. Unnecessarily loud, obnoxious, repetitive club music for an afternoon, forcing everyone within half mile to listen, including the general public who just wanted a quiet day at the beach. Excellent location on the beach, and very nice design elements. The good stops there. “Security” (young boys in white shirts)is over-the-top ridiculous for a weekday afternoon, especially since we were having a girls day out. I can assure you we were not a threat but those local boys have watched too much TV and think they’re on the set of Narcos. Looked like they were blocking people at the entrance that they didn’t think would “fit in,” resulting in literally zero customers. Not welcoming, terrible first impression. Restrooms filthy and sewage smell permeated inside and outside. Restaurant desperately needs a deep clean. I fear what the kitchen looks like based on the dining room. Service staff nice but very slow. They ALL had their heads down, on their phones. Food was decent but absurdly overpriced, and by the time we got it, we were over this place. Security and staff needs to chill out, be humble and have a service-oriented attitude, especially for the $$$$$ prices they’re charging. They make you feel like YOU’RE lucky to be dining there. Spend your good money somewhere else, where they are warm, genuine, inviting, gracious and have fair prices. Owners, if you’re going to charge $$$$ prices and call yourself “fine dining,” you better back it up with impeccable service and food. This place? Not a chance. NEW OWNERSHIP NEEDED.

Stay away!! the only beach club that charges $45 just to be there without any credit towards food or drink. They don't tell you that when you walk in, you find out when your bill arrives. It wasn't like that 2 months ago or ever like that before. they just started doing this in January and don't let people know until the end. Stay away much better beach clubs elsewhere.

Not sure if they've just given up on it, or if they've shut it down for the shoulder season (without telling the guests), but the pool was gross. The water level is below the filter intakes, and the far end is covered with a skim of oil and dirt. It's also cloudy. Sadly, we didn't notice that it wasn't being filtered until we'd already gone for a dip. $30 USD to hang out for the day. Except for the pool, the place is very nice, with a gorgeous view across the ocean to Cozumel. The only time we saw our server was when he came over to collect our day pass fee and give us menus for horrifically overpriced food and decently-priced drinks. I would have ordered some if we'd ever seen him again. I have to say the DJ in the afternoon absolutely crushed it with the most awesome deep house set. That was not enough to save my review, however, and I would neither recommend nor return to this particular establishment.
