Great service and good seafood. If you are not used to river shrimp, ask for a sample first. It takes some time to get used to the flavor. Other than that, the micheladas are delicious and the octopus "al mojo de ajo" is one of the best I have tried. The view during sunset is gorgeous and the prices are very modest. Great experience overall.

Hands down some of the freshest, most delicious mariscos I have ever had. First time visiting this place, at the recommendation of our taxi driver. Keeping this short and sweet: we had a large “Vuelve La Vida” seafood cocktail which was served very well chilled, full of tomato cocktail sauce, giant slices of fresh avocado, and plenty of shrimp, “pulpo”, oysters, conch and fish. Then we had the “Arroz a la Tumbada”. The rich rice in a delicious broth, spices and fresh jalapeño, simmered to perfection with fresh shrimp, oysters, octopus or “pulpo”, conch and fish! I couldn’t stop eating it. To call this “”paella “ is wrong because this blows paella away! Cool aguas frescas served in giant cups and a generous table appetizer of fresh ceviche and limes were also excellent. The service was prompt and gracious even though I arrived right at closing time. Not one moment of hesitation to serve and seat us and then just overwhelm us with the best seafood I’ve ever had. Well worth the 15-20 minute drive in traffic from Boca de Rio. I will be back!

Great and delicious food would highly recommend the sea food salad comes with octopus shrimp lime and cilantro easy dish to share, the food here has so much flavor vs the city food which it's all still great

Mandinga Veracruz is soo delicious. I remember coming here when my dad was alive. We asked the person at our hotel if he could recomend a good place to eat. He said cheap or expensive. I replied a good delicious place. He said mandinga. I said yesh that's the one place i remembered. It did not disappoint.

The Place cosmetically looks a little challenging. But the food is probably the freshest that I've had yet in Veracruz. Located on the water, the view is gorgeous. I ordered the pulpo salad (0ctopus). The dish was served in a hefty portion. Inexpensive. My Friend ordered the shrimp al diavolo. He also said it was absolutely well seasoned and he is a native in the area. I recommend this place highly. If you are looking for really good seafood (mariscos) and forget the looks. There is also a guy that sings for tips and a boat ride across the lagun for an extra fee.

Food it's ok, but service is quite slow. Anyhow you can sit near the river and enjoy a beautiful landscape. Also they have live shows but it's unclear when are they going to start so better ask first if you want to enjoy of a traditional music and dance while waiting for your food.
