★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent tour. We met them at a Cafe Soliz in Zincalela and were transported in a nice van to Manialtepec Lagoon, which is west of town but feels like north. The man that drove the van served as our interpreter and the boat driver was our expert guide. Both did a great job. Binoculars were provided. We saw many many different species of birds: herons, rails, gallinule, cormorants, anhinga, storks, kingfishers, black skimmers, sandpipers, terns, and many more. The beautiful setting complement the bird watching.
