★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food and such friendly service! As others have reported, a bit hidden, but definitely worth the adventure to find. We've dined at Mara's twice this week. We drive from San Juan Cosala so it's a lil over half hour drive from home ... but so worth it! Met Mara today, she's also the artist of many of the paintings. Love the atmosphere and decor as well as the buffet offerings! Thanks to all who posted previously so we felt confident trying this gem.

Quaint family owned restaurant, tucked away in a quite area of town..
Authentic Mexican place, tried a small portion of all the food they had on display.. More seafood because of the holy week.
Dishes included Prawn with Cactus in a tomato sauce, marlin fish, fish roe, chicken, corn, rice, beans and fresh made tortillas.. We also shared a bread pudding..
Excellent home cooked food, nice ambience, reasonably priced.
Opened by the mother Mara, its run by her son Alvaro, wife Caroline and Veronica.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our sons birthday was while we were here. We had asked them to being the cake out for us. Well they did more than that. I can't even simply explain, the music and fan fare, my son said it was his best in 12 years.
The food here is to die for, you will never regret a visit here.
