★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just had a wonderful meal at Marenostrum. I recommend the lobster thermidor and lamb chops! Moises was our server, he was extremely attentive and made sure we had a memorable evening. We were also pleasantly surprised that he spoke impeccable French, which is our first language.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you wait 8+ hours for your luggage to be delivered and need to retrieve it yourself, then wait 3 DAYS for your toilet and lighting to be repaired and end up spending hours each day tracking down help, that’s of no concern?♀️. However, if you are 18 minutes late to the restaurant, they will deny services. The Marenostrum hostess was condescending and unhelpful (whoever she was on shift 4/10/2022). We gave multiple chances for them to do right by us, but they gave us no quarter. Shameful. Overall quality in facilities, accommodations, and hospitality services has greatly declined at Barcelo from our previous stays over the last 6 years. Overcrowding and understaffing may be the blame, but if they cannot accommodate, they should make appropriate restrictions in bookings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Far from being fine/excellent cuisuine. Food has almost no taste, and salmon was overcooked. Overall not a very good experience considering all the other choices you have at the complex.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite seafood restaurant during my stayed at Barcelo resort. Erik the manager there and Pat the server is great. They ran out of lobster during my reservation but was able to accommodate me another day. The food is most tasty compared to all the other one I tried at the resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very delicious fish. Had ceviche and pulpo to start. Both delicious. Soup was..soup..lobster main and grouper main were extremely good. Desserts were not good not bad. Service was rushed though. The servers have a 1 hour target they need to hit. Don't know why as it was half empty.

The service was good
Lobster was ok but the butter with garlic was a little bit biter
The dessert was ok. I recommend apple hot pie with ice cream
