★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first sight, the restaurant doesn’t show much, but the staff was very friendly and their sanitation protocols were very good! All of their waitresses had masks and face-shields
The entrance nachos that we had were very crisp and delicious, tasted very well with their salsa and mayo. Our main dish was a combination of seafood that costs not more than 700 pesos and all the seafood we had were fresh and tasted really good. I have never had squid like I had there, great flavors.
However, concerning my drink (a jar of marguerita) it was not as I expected. And we could’ve chosen a better option.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was attentive and staff was nice, but the white wine we ordered was initially served at room temperature (they brought an ice bucket to cool it, but it took 30 minutes before it was drinkable), and we ordered the mixed grilled seafood platter where the langoustine and shrimps were catastrophically overcooked and the fish didn't appear fresh but frozen. Those things considered, it was not good value. Wouldn't recommend.

All food, ours and most of the dishes for other costumers passing by, seems to be swimming in the same pool of tomato sauce that kills the flavor of anything, be it the manta ray of our appetizer, the meat of one of us or fish of the other. Which can also be a good thing, as the expensive catch of the day was a frozen piece of chewy fish that was catched for sure one day, but probably a day of a month ago. Avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is amazing. There are a lot of local dishes on the menu (including the typical shark dish from Campeche). The staf is very nice and involved with you as a customer. A high value for money ratio, must visit resaturant in Campeche!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it is a beautiful place, lovely staff but the food was just ok.. from the 8 different dishes we tried just the sopa de lima was exceptional, the rest lacked flavour. Lastly, the portions are too small compared to the price. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner twice here, the first day was good, sea food platter was very good. We had a young waitress who was very friendly but it was probably her first day on the job. The poor thing has never seen a bottle of wine up close, let alone open one and nobody moved a finger to help her. Also, don’t order capuccino here.
The second day we took the chefs recommendations and it was fiercely overcooked and hard like rocks. For the price they asked it was not ok. I’m sorry but wouldn’t recommend.

Highly recommended by my partner as she had been in Campeche before, so went there first and was the best decision. Traditional food from the area well prepared!
The place is located near the cathedral and is situated in an old structure resembling older times.
