★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Margarita Mermaids is fantastic. They have great margaritas and service is on point. I love going there on Sunday's because they have Fried Chicken Special. You have got to try it. It's a whole chicken with mashed potatoes and Cole Slaw. It's great. The view is amazing because it's right on the water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over 20 margaritas. Some are a real stretch for drinkability for me. I had a cheese burger quesadilla which wasn't as described but ok. The house margs are ok and chips good. Service needs some training.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of our favorite stops every time we are in Rocky Point. Located at the far end of the Malecon next to a few outdoor shops (usually really good prices BTW).
The bartender Alfredo always makes a great drink and he is very attentive. Manuel and the others are all very nice and ready to help with anything you need. Needless to say, great customer service.
They have an outdoor patio, kinda hidden by the bar. It looks out at the sunset over the ocean. Great views of the Ocean from the inside as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very good. Carne Asada tacos tasted like cheap cut of meet cooked in a pot of oil with no seasoning & thrown into dry stale tortillas. Chicken was over cooked and couldn't tell you what it tasted like but it wasn't chicken that's for sure. But the atmosphere was pretty cool & lively. The staff was very friendly. Just wish I'd had a better experience with the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. Friendly, knowledgeable wait staff, excellent margaritas in 20 flavors! We had the chicken and it was excellent. Share it between two or three people, there is a LOT of chicken! Great place to watch the sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a bargain with the wings and pizza combo meal! That, along with the shrimp salad (pictured) fed four (not very hungry) adults. The salad tasted fresh and pizza and wings were tasty with only a little spice to the mild wings.
Margaritas were okay - we tried classic and mango. I expected better with the basis of the place being margaritas.
Staff was very attentive, friendly, and fun !!
