We paid almost 2 thousand pesos for a cabin very far from the lagoon, we had a hive of wasps at the entrance and due to lack of maintenance in the area it was wooded and there was a lot of mosquitoes. The terrace was not what they offered us, there was only an old table and a shabby chair for 2 people. Inside the cabin there was a lot of mosquitoes and the shower faucet made a lot of noise, as if it had pressure problems in addition to not being able to regulate the temperature. There is a lot of difference in the care of the area from the most expensive cabins to the cheapest ones, in addition to the fact that the Coral cabin, in which we were, is "shared" and that was not specified when we hired, the proximity to the cabin next door so that we could hear the tenants. The photographs are misleading, be consistent with their advertising, their prices and the maintenance they give to their cabins and area. We made the report when we vacated, but I leave this review in order for you to pay attention to the details because it is a very beautiful place, but what we pay does not correspond to what we receive.

Terrible experience, we went to a family event and we rented two cabins for $3,500 a night and in one cabin we could not sleep because of the strong smell of sewage that emanated from the bathroom, the door did not close and in the other cabin the entire cabin was flooded because the shower drain is clogged. They advertise a minibar and there was no Wi-Fi in common areas and they did not have service either. The staff is very helpful but the owners do not pay attention since at the time of our departure other clients were complaining that they did not have hot water in their rooms (two cabins)

Maria María is a beautiful place, one of those that when you see them for the first time, they make you smile unexpectedly. The space is wide, it looks like a soccer field but without balls or people or players, just grass, beautiful green areas, huge trees and their placid shade, which delight and refresh like lemon water in hot weather. Here you can organize your wedding, or party, or whatever you want without any problem, the view will thank you, and you will love its small pier to the lagoon.

The place is very beautiful. The cabins well on the austere side. The toilets had no seats, an older aunt went to the toilet. Too few staff to attend to. The attending staff reluctantly almost rude.

The garden, the lakefront and the public areas are very nice. But the rooms leave something to be desired. In the cabin we rented, the air conditioning was on full blast from 10 AM and by 3 PM the heat made it unbearable. Avoid the cabins with "swimming pool". I've been in tubs bigger than those pools. They look like planters converted into a pool. a scam In the place they prohibit entering with food, but the food options are limited, bad and expensive. Also, to order dinner the hours are from 6 pm to 7:30 pm! Finally, although we specifically asked if they accepted payment by card, the food had to be paid in cash, and the balance of the room they also wanted to be in cash, since the card terminal "was failing". After refusing to pay cash, we were able to pay by card after a Wi-Fi extender was brought in, so there was no "problem or glitch" with the terminal. At least I think there are more cons than pros. Especially the heat in the room.

The place is very pretty and serves excellent as an escape from the city. It is extremely peaceful and nature is beautiful. On the other hand, the cost of the cabins seems too high to not include any amenities or food, in the end one ends up paying a lot of money that could well be used in other destinations.
