MARIA'S HAPPY HORSES - 82280 Mazatlán

Did the private tour and had a BLAST. I'll be back to do it again.

We found Maria on the beach today and went for a ride. She was an excellent guide who went out of her way to ensure that we had a great time. The horses are well trained and well cared for.

Best horse back riding of my life! I met Maria on the beach in mazatlan, and she took my boyfriend and I on the most amazing ride up and down the beach, she always had a smile and was always in control of her horses even in gallop! It was overall an amazing experience and I look forward to seeing her again! Thank you so much :)

We highly recommend Maria’s Happy Horses! This 1 hour of horseback riding was the highlight of our day in Mazatlán. Both Maria and Sophie were amazing! This was the first time my kids ever rode horses and they absolutely loved it (ages 10, 7, and 6). The horses were well trained and easy to control. We are so glad we did this instead of any of the other excursions we could have booked through the cruise. I just sent a message through their website inquiring about more info and Sophie emailed me back right away. It was so easy to reserve a time slot and 5 horses via email, and they only charged $25 per person for a 1 hour ride with a guide (both Sophie and Maria rode with us). We just paid cash after the ride was over. We met them on the beach and enjoyed our day at Stone Island. If you’re going to ride Maria’s Happy Horses , I would also recommend getting a table or some beach chairs under an umbrella at Lety’s restaurant. Their service and food were amazing and we were able to keep all our bags and towels there while we went riding.

Ok, I don't know if I am talking about Maria's "happy" horses, but yesterday I went to Stone Island and happy is not the word to describe those horses. Poor things were standing under hot sun all day long. Why not build a shady spot for them? It doesnt seem to be expensive. I dont understand why people dont complain about it. Again, I am not sure if the horses I saw there were Maria's horses, but they were the only ones there. BUILD A SHADY SPOT FOR THE HORSES!

Great time for a great price. They were able accommodate my youngest (6 years old) and my more experienced kids (8 and 10) were able to take the horses for a gallop up and down the beach. Maria was very friendly, Spanish speaker. Sophia speaks English, French, and Spanish. I would do it again!

My second time riding their horses and I will go back again when I can! Sophie, our guide, was fantastic and I just love everything about it. The horses truly are happy and healthy. The ride is on a gorgeous beach and coconut farm. Then after you can enjoy the beach with drinks and food at one of the local restaurants.

Beautiful ride in a beautiful place. Details and directions to find the beach were spot on and easy to follow. Great price and some great family fun.
