★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What seemed to be an excellent restaurant, resulted in a very poor, slow and decadent service. We were a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 child. It took over 30 minutes to bring just the soup. Prices are expensive that does not match with the quality of food. After bringing the bill, no one showed up to be able to pay. I had to do it by myself. I didn't tip the waiters, and they were rude and offensive. Definitely, Maria Xoconostle won't be a restaurant to get back or recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a good variety in Mexican dishes from the whole country. Some of them are huge portions, like the Pipian and the chicken in Mole sauce. Those were the best flavor wise too, from the ones we tried. I didn't enjoy the Azteca soup as much, nor the guacamole, they were lacking something, hence the 4 stars. The service were really attentive thou.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place it’s really nice, the atmosphere overall it’s pretty cool. But the service was not good and the dishes were pricey compared to the flavors and size of the food. I would say a bit of a “tourist trap”. I would recommend los “tacos de lengua” those were very good. If you would like to enjoy a nice place this could be an option but I would not recommend it to eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful lunch. Waiters were friendly. Food was excellent. Drinks were delicious. We will be going back. Beautiful courtyard setting with orange trees and peaceful relaxing atmosphere.
