Marina Mazatlan Yacht and Sailing Club - 82100 Mazatlán

Marina Mazatlan is well located deep in an estuary. We kept our boat there this summer, during hurricane season. Their summer rates are very inexpensive. It's close to Walmart, Sam's Club, Auto Zone and the huge upscale Galleria Mall that has great and cheap movie theaters with leather recliners and food service to your seat. It's also located right on the bus line so going into the Golden Zone or into Old Town is very easy and cheap. The malecon around the Marina has several restaurants. Gus y Gus and La Mona were our favorites. Across the street next to the gas station is Rico's - way better than Starbucks! This is a no frills kind of place except the bathrooms and showers are way above average. There is a small cruiser's lounge with AC and a couple of couches. The wifi went down while we were there and had not been fixed when we left weeks later. There are several people on boats that have called Marina Mazatlan home for many years. Together they run a morning radio Net, organize swap meets, etc. If you need someone to care for your boat, Luis is the guy! The nice ladies in the office can help you get in contact with him. He is a young, hard working, honest individual! He will go above and beyond to be of service to you. He picked me up from the bus station in Sinaloa at 3:00 in the morning! He send us WhatsApp images and messages while we were away, letting us know the boat was ok.
