Very good rates. Very nice office staff and friendly yard staff. Washrooms and showers are newer and clean. Good place to leave your boat over summer. Thanks.

The Good... Very friendly staff and a great place to haul out your boat, do the work needed (like bottom paint) and get your boat back on the water. It is also a good place for storage but have storm damage insurance. They have a very nice restaurant and OXXO in walking distance. They have 24 hour security guards. The Bad... I recieved very high work quotes so I had to do everything myself. I had to call multiple times for quotes after being told someone would be right there. The water pressure in the showers are a mist causing you to take longer showers. The new workyard has no bathrooms. They unload fish from trucks to containers at the entrance and the smell is horrible if trying to live onboard. Saw a sign that said another $300 a month to cover electricity for air conditioners? That's more than 6 times what it should cost so I would avoid summer yardwork. There is no internet. Overall its OK for Mexico. I just have a problem with all marinas charging California prices with Mexico overhead. I thought I would find much lower labor prices seeing how the employees are making very little pay. I can not understand how a place with so much income is not maintained better. So much potential to be more.

Hauled out for long-term refit in April 2021 (still here as of April 2022). Gabriel the owner lets you work on your own boat, or can arrange workers. The yard is pure rock and fine, talc-like sand though -- mix that with the strong regular winds that come through and it is very difficult to do clean work like painting, glassing and welding. The west "work" yard has bathrooms. The showers are located beside the main office. These facilities are meh; kinda dirty, rundown and worn out, but function. New power stands in the west yard as of 2022, with 110/220. Rates & processes have changed (gone up) as of 2022. Definitely check their website and call to confirm with their office. Always get any 'verbal agreements' in writing, just to be safe in case things change.
