★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Mario's Mariscos estilo Mazatlán on a short trip to San Miguel de Allende. It is located a short 20 minute walk from the heart of San Miguel de Allende. Considering the location is not very close to Mazatlán or the coast in general, the seafood was very fresh. It makes sense why this place is so popular. It is not the cheapest place, but you should expect that fresh quality seafood in a non-coastal city will come at a price. If you are craving seafood, this should definitely be your one and only stop in San Miguel de Allende!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a Cocktail of shrimp,and Octopus, Mazatlán Style, wich means it is no Ketchup on the sauce,but, there is a bottle always on the table. Excellent quality,tasty,and fresh, has a reference, the shrimp is comparable to the ones from the Keys in Florida,I did not had a chance to try the Oysters it was not available,at that time.Definitly a must to try,on the next trip to San Miguel de Allende

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We heard this was an excellent restaurant, and the rumors were correct. We had a shrimp dish. The salad was excellent as was the fresh cooked shrimp. Excellent service, presentation, and flavorings. We will be returning soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seafood was fresh and delicious. Service was good. Mario and the chef were great hosts. I think anything you order will be fresh and cooked well. We ordered coconut shrimp, lobster tail, octopus. All were fantastic. They accept cash only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came to San Miguel visiting from California,, Found this place Mario’s Mariscos’s ,, This place and food will not disappoint,, It’s family owned with very nice people there ,,,Food was delicious,, Ceviche ,, tacos gobernador,, Battered and Coconut shrimp was all excellent,, If you’re looking for more authentic mariscos this is the place ,, I also had Don Camaron couple days prior and doesn’t come close to Mario’s.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We saw very good reviews and were headed to La Comer so decided to give it a try. The place is very funky same before the food came we wondered if we'd made a mistake. Turned out to be excellent. The sopa de mariscos and caldo de camarones were delicious and had plenty of perfectly cooked seafood. Definitely deserves all the good reviews.

Nite that I know he's open 11am to 7pm every day, we will be back!
