En 1970 por primera vez se abrieron las puertas de Mariscos el Carnal en un pequeño local del centro de la ciudad de Guadalajara, donde se ofrecía a nuestros clientes platillos con sabores plenamente tradicionales estilo Sinaloa y que así, agregando mesa a mesa hace 45 años nacía el primer restaurante.
Después de esta apertura, hemos complementado nuestro menú con más de 100 exquisitas especialidades para todos los gustos, en el que conservamos por supuesto nuestra esencia, que es la cocina regional con una propuesta contemporánea e innovadora en técnicas y procedimientos; respetando siempre la frescura y la calidad de nuestros productos.

El restaurante en general tiene buena comida, pero la cerveza estaba caliente y la atención del personal restante regular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the only places in the area that has an open area with a view of the lake with no big dirty windows in the way. Really nice people here! Great place to have some drinks and enjoy the beauty of the lake. I haven’t eaten there yet but people seem happy with the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible service and food! I’m not a very picky person and i never write bad reviews but they took MORE THAN an hour and a half to give us our food which was a “Mariscada” for 3 people.
Only good Thing about this place is the view and that they give you a small ride on boat.

Great little restaurant, off the beaten path.
Located at the far end of the public parking lot along Paseo Ramón Corona, Mariscos el Carnal is far from the maddening crowd along the Chapala boardwalk.
The restaurant is clean, light, and airy, and features superb vistas of Lago de Chapala. The food on offer is first-class, both in preparation and presentation, with the salmon relleno being one of the finest I've eaten.
Prices, too, are fair given the quality of what's on offer.
Highly recommended...
