★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want best fish (pescado empapelado o frito) or best ceviche (mixto) in Mexico, this is probably the place. Super humble and simple, just a shack next to the road and couple of tables and chairs but don’t get fooled. Soon they’ll get the crowds, now it’s still only known by locals. All fried and cooked on wood. You’re welcome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had many delicious seafood dishes all over the world and this place has by far the best seafood I have ever had. Everything is made with a lot of care and the owners are both so friendly. This place should be the most visited seafood restaurant by visitors to Mahahual because it is the most authentic option available. Absolutely amazing. Will go back every chance I get while I'm in town, and hope to return with my family someday so they can experience this. Highly, highly recommend.
