Marival Distinct Luxury Residences - 63732 Nuevo Vallarta

This was first time experience with Marival Distict Luxury Residence. We were expecting quite and less crowded environments which was totally opposite. There were group of people who was very loud, noisy, drunk but no staffs were given warning them. Distict meant for different than others? New daypass system kind of ruined reputation as bring more than expected people in resort. Food was great and top of line , no complaints at all. Insu and Mozamare was awesome. Many selection and all menu was GREAT. We have been in Mexico many times and time share tricks were always getting on the way. We declined firmly all the time as we have NO interest in timeshare. Luido , if I spell correctly who was in Lemon Glass was awesome and gave him 5 stars service excellency.

Dined at the Insu Sky Lounge. Tapas menu with good selection, tasty food, relaxed ambiance and spectacular sun set views. Staff were very good as we're the prices.

This was my 4th time coming to Marival for vacation, so I was long overdue for a review. Overall this is a wonderful resort and you will not regret coming here, but there are some tips and tricks that may come in handy. The resort is now split into two main sections, the main hotel with the big pool and main restaurant etc... and the newly opened beach access Mozzamare. While the grounds and service at both sections are exceptional, it was pretty clear that a lot of resources went into Mozzamare and that is where most of their attention was focused in terms of food and experience. It had better food, more options for food, and better scenery (beach...). Do yourself a favor and make Mozzamare one of your first stops, then you can explore after you have had the best. Food varies based on what restaurants you go to. Omaggio is good for breakfast, but bad for dinner. Lemongrass is pretty meh all around. And Mozammare was solid for all meals. Check out the sky bar if you want a Tapas esque night and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Drinks are solid, they dont feel watered down and there is very nice tequila included in the all inclusive price, so you can indulge on some very nice alcohol. There is even a cocktail menu for each restaurant, but they do tend to be on the sweet side. My only real complaint is the rooms. Ours had definitely seen better days. The artwork was starting to fall off the walls, there were tiles missing in the shower, the water in the shower would go ice cold if anyone else in the unit used any water. Since we didn't spend much time in the room it wasnt a big deal, but for the price of the resort I expected more.

Great hotel with amenities! We enjoyed our stay at the resort. Few things we like: - Very quiet and peaceful! - Great food - Loved the hot tub - Rooms are big with living area Few things we did not like about the resort: - We did not receive the room we booked for day 1 - The wifi at the resort sucks and disconnects very often. - Mozzamare restaurant lunch service was super slow and very bad service. - TV’s are outdated and not able to cast anything from the phone or sign in to any app - We love the ocean front views but this resort is not located on the ocean

Not worth the money We stay at 3 bedroom villa I wouldn't say that it was a bad experience; however with amount of money spent it was not what someone would expect. Very slow service. Staff very courteous but because place is under staffed so can't meet the expected quick service. For the amount of money spent the value of money is very less. No café barista, not enough bars, not enough pools, very small pools However food was above grade if slow service is taken out of consideration. Not much available after 10pm except room service which is 10% service fees which you have to pay extra. I will definitely not recommend this place unless you find it at an cheaper rate The resort is not directly on the beach; it has a restaurant on the beach for which you walk through. The absolute worst experience I have ever had! Horrible customer service at the front desk. The fridge is empty we have to call and come to the front desk asked for water.

My boyfriend and I came to this luxury resort in April 2022 and loved it! Our stay at Marival Distinct was absolutely magical, the staff were very professional and they made us feel privileged. This is honestly one of the best run hotels we have stayed at. If you are looking for something special with your loved one we recommend you take the private sunset dinner on the beach and a spa experience at Mélange Spa! In addition, we are vegan and were pleasantly impressed by the quality of the food. There are complete plant based menus in restaurants, different menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have never eaten so well in a hotel! We felt at paradise! The suites are so beautiful! We had one with a private pool, we highly recommend one like this, the view is amazing! It’s a really great choice if you are looking for a all inclusive 5 star hotel in Nuevo Vallarta or Riviera Nayarit! Perfect for couples, families and vegans! ?@laptopvagabonds

We have stayed here a couple of times. We love it. This visit was with our 3 adult children. The kids had never been here before and were blown away. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The thing that keeps us coming back is the food. Great selection and quality. We met with a sales agent, Julio Alba, and were very impressed with him and the vacation club. Julio was very knowledgeable, clear and patient with our many questions. We did purchase a club membership and look forward to many future vacations with our new friend. Also, big shout out to Christian and his wonderful service poolside at the beach club.

Marival Distinct is our family vacation home from home. A nice quiet 5 star resort away from the hustle and bustle of larger places. We just returned from an 8 night stay, our second visit and will be booking for 2 weeks in June. The beach location, stunning large rooms, excellent food and the staff, WOW! I cannot say enough about the amazingly attentive employees. You are never a minute without being pampered. Jesus and Carlos are the first to greet you as your Bell Captains and their friendly service continues throughout your stay. A huge shout to Housekeeping who were so 'On Point' in every aspect. We cannot wait to return soon to enjoy this truly spectacular resort.
