★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for a great experience and a cheap but AWESOME as-mexican-as-it-gets breakfast, and I do mean the real deal, you can't miss a visit to El Carro Verde!! Walk around and see a nice colorful mercado and sit on any stand and get yourself a nice bowl of Pozole or Menudo, quesadillas, tacos, seafood and pretty much anything you can imagine. This has been a local favorite for ages!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love shopping at this market! It's a very nice, clean market, with friendly vendors and delicious food stalls. The fruits and vegetables in this market are always fresh - fresher than any other market or grocery store I've shopped at here in León. The carnicería I buy from here is also very good. Those guys take good care of me in trying to find out exactly what I need, and they're very patient with my lack of Spanish meat vocabulary. It's in the middle of the city, but worth the drive for good food and friendly faces.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food! Try El 7 Mares! Good tacos of all kinds. Owner is very polite and attentive, not much room to eat due to the place being very popular. But El 7 Mares moves them out very fast. ?
