Long waits to check in, not so friendly staff and they charge you for everything. From getting make up on the towels to checking out a minute late. The food in the breakfast area was horrible and they tried to charge us extra charges for food we didn’t even order. The rooms are nice and cozy I give them that.

✔✔✔✔ BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL THEY ARE SELLING AN/OR STEALING YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!!! Reason I know this I used a brand new Credit Card for the purpose of checking In to this Hotel. We only use it once and ONLY while in Mexico. Guess what? 4 months later after our trip, fraudulent charges appeared in our statement. Beware and check your statement closely. Especially a couple of months after your visit

This hotel is beautiful it has great views , you can hear the nature in the mornings, it comes with a complimentary tequila factory and tasting tour. I stayed in the atlante barrel and the AC and ceiling fan were great, Most hotels in mexico lack with their AC system, but this one was great. its also pretty safe i liked that it was distanced from the actual centro in tequila. Staff was nice and informative. 12/10 i recommend staying here.

Very friendly and nice rooms. The view is amazing and relaxing. They have their own tequila tour and tasting. We tried the food at the restaurant as breaksfast was included in our package and it was pretty good. Is not waking distance from the Tequila Plaza you will need a Taxi or Uber if you want to walk around the plaza.

Wouldn't even stay here again if it was free. The company is a rip off and fail to give you the full details such as there is a curfew. Worst experience I had in Mexico ever. Food was horrible. Rooms not cleaned up to par. Also we had people constantly bugging us about cleaning the room. I am pretty sure we left the room better than they gave it to us. We had to reclean due to mold in shower corners. Don't start me with the fact the blinds did not work. Lighting was coming through all around the front door. Heat did not work and we only had 2 working channels. Only thing cool about this place is that it is a barrel. Epic fail.

All the staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived until we left. The breakfasts are very good and the place very pleasant. The tequila tasting tour is worth it. The only bad thing was that the towels were very hard, the pillows were not that good and it is located very far from the center of tequila. It was between $100 and $60 pesos from the hotel to the center of Tequila and the same for the way back, but because of the beautiful views that the hacienda has, it is worth it. At the end of the stay they check the room and make sure everything is in order and if something is stained, damaged or missing something, they charge you. This process takes time, so consider it if you are in a hurry for your checkout.

Hotel was very good. The rooms are very spacious for being inside a barrel, and everything is clean inside and out. The walk around the hotel is very nice too. Very scenic and it's a must if your visiting tequila. Pros: Scenic, clean. Cons: Check in, parking, location. Perfect place to take pictures and experience Tequila, Jalisco. The hotel was very clean too. The rooms were well kept and spacious. I really dreaded the check-in/check-out process. Check in was not a big issue. Checking out was very time consuming. The receptionists messed up placing a hold on my credit card & charged me the full amount of the hold on my card. It was a process trying to get my deposit back, and in the end, they wired the money to my bank account (they charged me the wire fee to return my money). You must also wait 15-20 minutes until someone goes to your room to check if the room has been vacated and not destroyed. My recommendation is to check-out 1 hour early to avoid everyone wanting to check-out at the last minute and then having to wait for the staff to check your room so they can complete your check-out. There is no quick check-out. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes away from the down area via a taxi. With this in mind, I would just recommend to stay here for one night, experience the distillery & restaurant. And depending on how long your staying in town, get a hotel closer to the downtown where all the activity is. I personally don't like to take taxis late at night for safety reasons. Overall, a good place to stay. I would recommend to just do one night here, and stay at another hotel near the center if you are planning to visit Tequila for a couple of days.
