Plane food. Tiny raviolis and very few, barely filled with mascarpone. The viena schnitzel (milanesa) seemed pre-cooked and basic flavoured. Slow service, wrong items on receipt, never brought one of the beverages, beer at room temperature.

An ok place for breakfast or lunch. But don’t waste your time or money with non-Mexican dishes because it is not what is they are good at. I had the club sandwich and it was barely edible: bread was stale, no ham, no cheese, dry chicken. And super overpriced. The chilaquiles were ok.

Went for breakfast - huge selection of breakfast options (nearly all eggs), great pastries, great coffee and great service.

Stopped in for 2x1 margaritas. Super expensive (120 pesos) for half a glass- see pic. full of ice. 4 sips and I was done :( Basically just sugary lime juice- I didn’t taste the tequila. I wouldn’t come back here

Matisse Bistro opens early, which in Condesa is a plus alone. Also, of course, early means ~8. We went for a gluttonous breakfast, starting with pan dulce, which arrives without needing to ask, and carrot juice. We split a tasty brown sugar concha. Next, a trio of tamales hit the spot with the mole and verde eclipsing the still tasty sweet tamal. If you’re not terribly hungry, you’ll be full by now. Nevertheless, we persisted and ordered chilaquiles rojos and huevos jarochos. The rojo sauce was tomato forward and not that spicy. The huevos were soaking in a bean sauce, which I quite enjoyed though admit that it may not be to everyone’s taste.

As I mentioned in my other reviews, I am making the rounds since I don't have access to a kitchen currently so I've been eating out every day! I decided to try this place for breakfast. The place was empty when I got there (approx. 930a). Service was quick from the perspective of seating me and taking my order but then the wait to get your food (considering it was empty) was very slow. They have an expansive menu with many options. They are on the pricier side (nearly $10 USD for a salad or $4 USD for soup) but the breakfasts were okay priced at roughly $7 USD. I ordered the "huevos Oaxaquenos with Pasilla sauce." They were VERY good. I typically don't finish the entire plate and this time I did. The sauce was exceptional :) I also ordered the "jugo antioxidante" --it was wonderful, except that it took way to long to get it. I also ordered the capuccino, which was good but too heavy on the milk--it was almost white! lol. I will likely come back here again.
