Dan at Maya Blue was an excellent dive guide. He was patient and easy going. Communication and arrangement all went smoothly. The cenotes were amazing to explore scuba diving. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend this dive shop and especially Dan as your guide!

Great diving experience with Maya Blue/Dark Zone Diving. Shop has a perfect location very close to many cenotes just south of Puerto Aventuras. Facilities are clean and well maintained including classrooms for teaching, a little cafe, shop to buy equipment, etc. The staff is very welcoming, always happy to help and trying to accomodate special requests like going to really remote caves in the middle of the jungle. I did multiple (full) cave dives with Dan, highly recommend to go diving with him! His passion for diving is inspiring and - careful - makes you want to go diving with him every day ;). He has tons of knowledge so make sure you pick his brain about all you ever wanted to know about diving. He is a great teacher with a lot of patience and the ability to make even the hardest tasks a fun thing to do. Loved that he always puts having a great experience and enjoyable dive over rushing things to finish early. Thank you Dan and the rest of the team from Maya Blue/Dark Zone Diving for making diving with you such a wonderful experience! Will definitely be back soon

We had a wonderful two cenote cavern tour with Maya Blue Dive Center. Thanks to their professional guidance and excellent diving equipment we enjoyed our first cavern dives.
