Maya Villa Condo Hotel & Beachclub - 77710 Playa del Carmen

Excellent apartament, well equipped with wonderful design. Fully equipped gym named the Gym was included in the price. The pity is only the heavy noise from near locals. Perfectly positioned in the center. Fortunately we were on the other side and apartment was well isolated. Anyway I could listen clearly the words of the songs. When we'll come back to Playa del Carmen for sure we'll stayed there again.

Great place to stay! The location was excellent — close to everything but off of the busy 5th Ave strip. Staff was great and accommodating. The penthouse suite (#206) we stayed in was perfect for our family of 4. It was roomy, 2 bds 2 full baths, rooftop with private jacuzzi, and a more-than-sufficient A/C that has temperature controls in both bedrooms and the living area. The only thing con, if you want to call it that, is that the pool is not very big and starting to need some aesthetic upgrade/maintenance, but not a major issue for us. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Highly recommended! Rooms are great. Court yard is beautiful. Nice balconys and close to everything you need.

Condo was infested with mold. When we arrived nobody was there to help us with our bags. We had to walk far with heavy bags and carry them up the stairs which was a huge pain. Nobody was there to show us how to find our room or how to properly use the keys. The restaurants they referred us to had horrible food. I had to fight to get a refund and am still fighting. I checked out 6 days early due to mold.

We had a lovely, spacious apartment that was a perfect home base for us and our 3 teenage children. It was quiet, safe and perfectly located close to everything. The staff are superb, patient and helpful. They provided excellent service and helped us have an amazing vacation.

We have really enjoyed our stay. The big thing we loved was the blender to make our own frozen drinks!! We did not hear any music from 5th street, it is very quite. Walking distance of beach, ferry shopping and all kinds of restaurants and coffee shops.

This Condo has amazing views! The rooftop is beautiful. It provides an outside eating area, grill, and hot tub on the upper level. There is a full kitchen inside. Plates, cups, and silverware are available to use and the maid service even cleans all the dishes for you! It’s like having a magic fairy. You leave for the day and come back to a clean house. This condo is walking distance from a wide selection of places to eat and shop. Many of the tour pick up locations are within 5 minutes walking distance. The condo provides complimentary day passes for gym access, for those that would like to workout all the good food. I wish the pool was a little bit bigger, but it is beautiful. Walking distance from the beach. Although I would say find another beach. The one close to the hotel is not that great. If the beach was nicer I would give 5 stars. Overall I had a great experience.

There is 24/7 check in service which was great because we arrived later than we expected - the young man who checked us in was friendly and informative. Our room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were well-kept and beautiful. The filtered water in the room was a great touch as we were able to fill our water bottles throughout the day. No complains from us, we would stay here again. Lovely location, close to restaurants (go to les amis a block over for the best sandwiches!!), the ferry to Cozumel, and the beach. We could not hear any of the party/club noise in our condo. We did have a hand-written note on our door one night presumably from another guest warning of theft from housekeeping services, but we did not experience that ourselves (it is always best to lock any valuables in the safe in any hotel room). The only improvement we would recommend is a more secure door/a door that deadbolts to a wall, as we prefer something with a bit more security.. with that said there is a locked front gate with security so it is really not an issue that would keep us from staying here again.
