Teotihuacan es la más importante ciudad de México antiguo. Su indiscutible valor universal se aprecia en la disposición geométrica de su traza urbana que sirvió de modelo a numerosas ciudades prehispánicas. Sitio arqueológico excepcional donde destacan las pirámides del Sol y de la Luna.
La riqueza arqueológica de Teotihuacan la llevo a ser reconocida por la UNESCO, e inscrita en la lista como Patrimonio Mundial el 11 de diciembre de 1987.
Esta grán ciudad, tuvo una extensión de 22 km cuadrados que contenían cerca de 2 mil conjuntos habitacionales distribuidos en 4 cuadrantes divididos por la Calzada de los Muertos y la Plaza del sol.
Actualmente sólo podemos ver el 5% de esta gran urbe y visitar 3 conjuntos habitacionales que son Tetitla, Atetelco y Tepantitla, además de la Plaza de la Luna, Plaza del Sol y Ciudadela.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice restaurant in the Teotihuacan area with a view of the pyramid. The food was delicious: flavorful and rich with spices, and the prices were fair. We had the vegetarian molcajete (we asked if we could remove the beef from the meat molcajete and they said they couldn’t), the filete de pescado al gusto, and the queso fundido: all really good.
Cafe de olla was perfect to round off the meal while we savored the views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food until we found several hairs in it and then watched the waitress pick out more with her hands in the back. Also sat in front of a dirty table with half eaten food and everything the whole time. We left. Hopefully this gets fixed, it was delicious until then.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service is amazing. The person that help us was very attentive. He lets us Mexican hats for pictures. He also gave us a special drink made of a cactus plant.
The food was good. I like the azteca soup. The place is big and it opens early. The prices are very reasonable.

Was part of a good tour. If you want authentic and different food don't hesitate to visit. Dare you try the fungus soup and the plate of insects and worms?
