You should go here. It's an old hotel that still breathes the grandeur of the hey day of last centuries tourism. We stayed in a very comfortable room with an excellent view of a Chichen itza Tower from our balcony and the jacuzzi. The pandemic has left its marks though in that it is quite empty, some parts (eateries and some bars) have closed temporarily. The restaurant in the main building was open though and served a good breakfast, lunch and dinner (we tried all). The service of reception and concierge is exceptional.

Enchanting property with great design touches. You can see The Observatory through a doorway in the hotel lobby. It’s almost unreal!! Super convenient for visiting the ruins.

Spacious place and helpful staff. When we visited early Feb 22 most things on the hotel were closed and so was the back entrance to the Chichen Itza site. So unfortunately this took away the main reasons for choosing this hotel.

Located near the historical site. We stayed in a bungalow. The beds have mosquito netting. The bathroom is large. The food is good.

Staying here added to the experience of Chichen Itza! Right from arrival to checkout all of the staff were phenomenal. We ate the tipico Yucatan dishes in the restaurant for lunch both days. Bring your appetite they are large and delicious portions for these. The authentic flavours, sitting overlooking the peaceful pool and even some Mayan language lessons from our server were the icing on the cake. We had a room that directly overlooked El Caracol (The Mayan Observatory) which is aligned with Venus and on this unbelievably clear night we could see Venus and Saturn just like the Mayans from our room. We were lucky to have the comet Leonard passing over on the same night. We wandered the grounds at sunset and before sunrise but the jungle was just a little to thick to see it. Stargazing on this property after watching the video in the Planetario (for a small extra fee) gave us goosebumps and was very romantic. Premium access to Chichen Itza is currently closed due to COVID but the hotel offered a bus service to the public entrance to the archeological site. We arrived right when it opens at 8AM to only a small lineup. Mexican nationals are free to enter the site on Sundays ($237 MXN otherwise) and International travellers $533 MXN. The bus picked us up at our requested time without fail and smiles hidden by masks were felt by all. This resort is private and with just a handful of guests was quiet and enjoyable. It’s a hidden treasure for a couples getaway. Thanks again to all the staff for a memorable trip to Chichen.

Stayed overnight just to go early to Chichen itza, we booked the cheapest room on Agoda, for 100+£ had a basic room, spacious but a bit outdated. Had a bathtub but didn't have enough hot water to even fill it up mid way. But just wanted a bed to sleep in. Dinner was nice at the only restaurant that was opened out of 3. There is a pool and lovely garden to walk around. And early in the morning, everyone gathered up to go to Chichen itza in a complimentary mini bus. Even arriving at 8am in Chichen itza, was still a big crowd and most of them drove down because the tour coaches doesn't arrive until 10:30-11am.. then you will realise that at 8am.. the crowd wasn't that big after all.

The most amazing view I have ever had in my life! The restaurant is so so, and it is your only option for food. We were there in January so it was off season. Beautiful building, very clean, fruit trees and did I mention the views!!!

This place is so beautiful! It is full of history and the views are amazing. The staff was so generous and kind, the Yucatan dishes were delicious, and the place was super cozy. I definitely would recommend staying here! You can see chichen itza from your balcony!! If you want a more relaxed place to stay this place is paradise!
