★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Flamingo tour to Celestun. We had an awesome experience on our tour to Celestun. The tour included comfortable transportation to and from, a boat tour, lunch and some time to hang out at the beach. We swam in the natural spring during the boat tour portion and that turned out to be the highlight of the trip. The guides we had were both perfectly fine. Our boat guide didn't speak English but we had a lot of fun figuring things out, which we did just fine. Great experience for the adults, teen and little ones.

Don not waste your money here. It’s very overpriced and unsatisfactory. I spent over 800 dollars on my family and I was not pleased at what they gave me. They lied and gave me false promises. We had asked for a refund but were denied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was awesome! Horacio was a great guide. My wife has always been scared of the water but he took the time to help her to enter the cenote and explain how to use the life jacket and snokel, and then she was just by herself in the cenote. This was incredible and awesome for her. We then went with a mayan family to eat and has a fabulous meal, where we also made torillas. We really liked that they involved the Mayan community in their tours. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The selection of tours that Mayan Ecotours has to offer is really extensive. From high end luxury outings to lower end very reasonably priced adventures, they truly do have something to offer every traveler. We only had three nights and two days to spend in Merida and Connie (owner of Mayan Ecotours) was excellent in developing a tour package that fitted our situation. We were able to explore Mayan ruins, swim in a remote Cenote, visit a Hacienda, take a city tour and have dinner at an excellent Mexican restaurant that we never would have found on our own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really had an incredible experience with Mayan Ecotours. From beginning to end we were treated with great care. Our guide Marcos was super friendly, knowledgeable and spoke pretty good English. We ended taking three totally different types tours; one was archeology, another was very nature oriented and the last one was adventure. They were all great!!

This was a terrible tour. 3 of the other guests claimed they were ‘friends’ of Ecotours and saw their role as a working one, that of ‘influencing’ on social media. They subsequently felt that it was a private tour and that the rest of us would have to wait around until they had finished their filming. I challenged them on this, and it set a really bad vibe for the rest of the day. The bus was dirty and aged. The driver was glorious though!
I urge Mayan Ecotours to contact me directly to resolve this matter. If it is true, these petulant influences are not representing your product well.
