Un despropósito! Reservé una semana por teléfono y al día siguiente me dijeron que no podían ofrecermela entera, que habían reservado algún día mediante otra plataforma. Igualmente reservé con ellos y el día anterior me dicen que no bloquearon mis días y les han reservado la habitación. Un desastre de experiencia, busquen otro lugar donde quedarse.

Reservamos una semana contactando con el alojamiento (evitando Booking y sus impuestos). Le pedimos al señor que nos bloqueara una habitación. No contestó (fantástica su diligencia!). Al cabo de un rato nos contactó y nos dijo que el primer día de nuestra reserva acababa de ser reservado y que nos teníamos que buscar un alojamiento por una noche. Lo hicimos confiando que podríamos pasar el resto de días allí. Al siguiente día, nos dijo que pasáramos a pagar al llegar a San Cristobal (viajábamos de Guatemala y no teníamos Internet hasta llegar y comprar un chip). Tan pronto llegamos a San Cristobal y encontramos wifi, vimos que nos había mandado mensajes en los que decía, básicamente, que lo lamentaba pero que le habían reservado nuestra habitación por Airbnb. Nos quedamos literalmente colgados y muy decepcionados. Nos dijo que nos buscaría él otro alojamiento (todavía esperamos su mensaje). No tienen palabra y una atención lamentable. No recomendamos tener ningún trato con gente con tan poco respeto y tan poca palabra. Así, no. Y así lo hemos explicado en nuestro blog de viajes y en nuestras redes sociales. Esperemos que esta experiencia sirva a futuros viajeros.

Un lugar muy cómodo para quedarse, bonita terraza!, tiene cocina, lavabos limpios, habitaciones cómodas. Ah! Y tiene secador de pelo en la habitación!!! ? lo que se agradece tanto porque en San Cristobal hace frio y me sacó de un apuro! También contratamos un tour con ellos y fue todo muy bien. If only walls wouldn't be do thin that you can hear your neighbours it would be Perfect Also a fridge in the kitchen would be nice but it's not big deal

I stayed for 3days. The place is calm and confortable. The terrace is good. Owners are really nice and want you go have a good stay. The place is new. It's missing some ustensiles in the kitchen.

From arrival onwards we did not have a good experience here. After arranging our arrival time in advance, and contacting him in the morning as requested, the owner turned up late and without the key to get in, and gave no apology or explanation as we waited outside for a guest to wake up and let us all in. 4 out of 5 days there was either no hot water, or no water at all. After a couple of days the owner told us it was due to road works, but lied about how long it would be going on for (telling his wife 4 hours in Spanish, and us 1 hour in English). No solution was offered and we ended up showering with bottled water. The kitchen is very poorly equipped, and there is no fridge. The walls and doors throughout the hostel (including bedrooms and bathrooms) are just chipboard so you can hear everything at all times and it doesn't feel private or safe. And the location is plenty close to everything but definitely doesn't feel safe in the evenings - on our last night a fellow guest was mugged at gunpoint outside the front door. When the guest (understandably) had a breakdown we contacted the owner to help and he just replied "oh dear". It was another guest who comforted him and contacted the police, and warned the rest of us the following day to be vigilant at night. It's a shame because the decor is nice and the terrace has beautiful views, but the owner doesn't seem to care about the guest experience beyond that superficial level. We were very happy to leave here!

Great place to stay when on a budget. It has thin walls though so when people doesn't respect the rules you kind of has to wake up in the middle of the night. Except that detail, the owner waited for us even though our flight was late and it was a nice place to stay !
