★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is very rare to get such a welcoming and energetic atmosphere so naturally at a restaurant, which Mayita definitely has.
The food is very well flavoured and wholesome. Maya, the owner, is great fun and very easy to speak to.
You should definitely check it out if you love vegan/Israeli food

We walked into Tulum from the ruins, at my suggestion, little over a mile but I could see my girlfriend getting exasperated as we seemed to be trudging through endless industrial area ?.. and then suddenly we found a vegan restaurant selling tea and cheap delicious food, my reputation was restored..phew. 380 pesos for 2 tasty meals with drinks ?

The owner was beyond generous and kind, the prices are acceptable, the food is really delicious, the pitta, pickles, chili paste ? was outstanding, there is obviously a precise attention to detail with an authentic home made touch .
Thank you for having us and making us feel like home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really incredible Israeli food. I’ve had a lot of falafel all over the world and this place is particularly fantastic.
The owner is just lovely, everything is made from scratch right in front of you. The falafel eggplant plate was full of flavor and super fresh. The falafel pita was packed full of tahini and fresh salad along with some sort of green sauce which was super tasty.
Even the espresso was great, a big improvement over most the local coffee. Highly recommend this place.
