★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite coffee place in Oaxaca -- the Mayordomo La Panadería. The loaves and little loaves here are gigantic, something to gawk at as you wait for your coffee to be constructed. This isn't a simple matter of an OXXO vat of Intenso. Mayordomo coffee is good, tastes better than coffee, and is just 20 pesos.
As I recall, they have here giant concha donuts, those big blobish donuts that seem to be frosted and look like shells. These are 20 pesos, but they're the size of a loaf of Bimbo pan blanco.
The people who slave here from dawn until late night are nonetheless nice and friendly, even very early in the morning.
