★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This port is one of my favorites. You take a free tram ride to the Port shops. Lots of indoor and outdoor shopping, clean restrooms, great bar and food outdoors. Transportation is readily available by Pulmonias( highly recommended) , Taxis, or Vans depending on your needs. Prices are clearly posted to your destination. More shops are available outside past the Taxi area in a covered building. Prices are cheaper than inside the port.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to shop, very friendly people, not pushy. Tequila is actually a very good deal in the area and the booth owner allows unlimited taste testing if you cannot make up your mind. You can even grab fresh coconut water. There are also places where you can get a chair massage in the shade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm surprised at how small it really was. However, there were a lot of nice tourist shops. Good bartering opportunities. The trip from the ship is mandatory since you are coming from the port over to the tourist area. There are hundreds of vehicles traveling up and down the area. Ford has a really big presence here in the manufacturing of their vehicles. Over a thousand shipping containers here as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is okay. Its an industrial port so you have to take a free shuttle from your ship to the terminal, past thousands of shipping containers. But the terminal is pleasant with lots if shops and small restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The city is working hard to make this a tourist friendly destination. The walking path to downtown is marked with blue on the pavement. Police and volunteers line the path to keep people safe. Stick to the tourist spots and you will have a safe, wonderful time in Mazatlan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a nice little shopping area and very shot walk to lots of local vendors to do your shopping. We stopped and had nachos and drinks before we headed back to ship at green bar. Nachos we good and drinks very cold.
