We booked this Rhino tour of Mazatlan with Princess Cruises. Alberto was our tour leader, and he and his partner (I forgot his name) were excellent! We had a ball. It was certainly an exciting tour, with vehicles, buses and trucks playing a constant game of CHICKEN! Good lord! In spite of that, we had a great time. Alberto made sure we stopped at several places for bathroom breaks, snacks and time to view the beautiful sites. We got to see the cliff divers on the beach. Oh my! How they made that dive amazed me! Although not the cliff divers of other cities, it was still exciting. The last stop of the day was in the shopping district of Mazatlan. I was interested in a ring at a jewelry store. The ring was missing a stone, and I realized the purchase was not a good idea. The salesman was pretty determined to get me to buy. I asked Alberto for his assistance, and the salesman immediately left me alone. THANKS to ALBERTO!!!! It was a great tour, and we would do this again.

We had a great time. We booked 2 reservations. One of them there was some miss communication about the date. We booked a private city tour. The tour company tried to contact us but we were on a cruise ship and didn’t have good communication. Be cause the date was wrong we accidentally no showed. When we received the message inquiring where we were I contacted mazatlan Tours. I was able to talk to someone on the phone and they rebooked the reservation for the proper date. We went on the city tour and had a great time. Our tour guide Enrique was awesome. We also booked a zip lining tour. We did not realize that the cruise ship time was one hour later than the local time. We ended up being an hour late for the excursion. The shuttle for the excursion had already left. They worked with us and found a driver to take us on the zip lining tour. Everything worked out great and everyone was very accommodating. I would recommend Mazatlan tours and plan on using them again if future.

I booked a private catamaran snorkeling excursion for my family of 13 in Mazatlan, but we were unable to go due to Covid. I cannot speak to the actual excursion, since we didn't get to go, but the customer service was top notch! They made it very easy to get a full refund and were helpful and responsive.

Used this company for round trip private transfer from the airport and back for our family of 6. Can't say enough good things about their service! When we arrived at the airport the driver was waiting right outside the door with a sign with our name on it. They remembered the water for everyone, were incredibly friendly and professional. For the trip back to the airport they picked us up in the lobby 5 minutes early and again the service was very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend their service to anyone, and we will definitely be using them again.

Our family of 6 signed up for a 4 hour boat tour to include snorkeling. Email communication was great with updates and reminders. Transportation was included to and from the port. Boat was clean, well maintained, the skipper was nice and snacks were also provided. We ended up seeing some humpback whales which was a nice bonus. Our guide was very knowledgeable about marine biology and spoke very good English. Snorkeling equipment was provided. Great experience.

I could easily just go on and on about how amazing this experience is... but I'll start with my husband's hesitation since that's something they speak on in the feedback portion of their site. I booked this excursion outside of the cruise line we were on. He asked me at least three times if I was sure it was something we could trust. Because I'd read that the transportation was also at the port and they explicitly mentioned cruisers, I felt pretty safe. Day of, we pull into port, still on ship time and walk over to where we are supposed to meet our ride. Initially I thought we were on time. When I went to check-in, I was told we were an hour early, and then after thinking about it, the attendant told me she would see about getting us a car right then. She was right. The drive is at least an hour long with no traffic. We caught a bit of traffic each way and spent about an hour and 10 minutes just on the ride. I very much appreciated her pushing for that. Once we were off the highway, we spent a half an hour riding through a couple small towns before we turned off the main road. We saw so many butterflies flying around, I was in awe. Later someone would tell me that there are more butterflies than that during the rainy season, I couldn't even imagine. Once we pulled into the small, charming community hosting us, they wasted no time in confirming what we were there to do and preparing us for it. They asked if we'd like to zip line first, which we did. That was quite the work out. Even though we were carted up the hill, there are still a few lines that require some climbing up steep stairs. Flying down those lines was exhilarating and well worth it. I wasn't even sure I wanted to get on them, but was so happy I got over my anxiety. Our guides were extremely sweet helping me up some of the stairs and were also entertaining. Our chariot took us back down the hill where we prepared ourselves for the ATV ride. First we rode through the charming community less than 250 residents call home, built by a handful of families. After that it was time to off road a bit, taking us over rocky hills, sand, water and mud. We would finish on the road to the zip lines, where we were able to overlook the town that was graciously hosting us. I love how well preserved their culture is, all while inviting us strangers into it for fun and adventure. Food was quickly served up for us to devour. We thoroughly enjoyed the authentic refried beans, fresh made tortillas, cheese sauce with mushrooms that melts while you watch it, and burritos with shredded beef and veggies. But BABY! when they brought out that molcajete with hot chilies and veggies to make our own salsa, I wanted to break out into applause lol. By the time they started serving up tequila liqueur, we were already sold. The flavors were pretty good. We ended our experience with a few purchases of the leather goods made in the town and made our way back to the ship. I was thrilled to learn that there wasn't any customs to clear before getting back on the ship, as that was my main stress about getting back in time. So for cruisers, understand, the hour there and back is legit, BUT, you wont be held up by customs upon your return. This excursion was WELL, well worth! I just wish we got more pics lol.

Super fun! We rode the ATVs & from start to finish everything was amazing! Our driver was knowledgeable about the area & allowed us to take photos & video (YT: Love Being Browne) along the way. Once we arrived we were given guides, equipment, and instructions in how to stay ride. The trail ride was amazing and the lunch provided was some of the best food in Mexico! The we tried Tequila & bought some leather jewelry. It was an amazing day!
