Mazatlan4rent was a dream to work with. All of our requests were taken seriously and expediently. Maria Elena was helpful and was always responsive to our issues and/or needs. Dori always kept our condo neat and clean. We wouldn't change a thing about our stay at Solaria Tower!

The Staff at Mazatlan 4 Rent are very nice however our stay at El Camino was horrible. The unit is decorated nicely but very poorly constructed. I do realize that Mazatlan has lots of construction at the present time but they should have forewarned us the extent of noise to expect. The jackhammering started some days at 7:00 am startling us out of our sleep. The construction noise was all day and night. It was not a peaceful stay nor relaxing. We had water coming through the walls one day and the walls are paper thin with water noise from the pipes.This is not a well made building for the price we paid for the week stay. We had no hot water in one of the bathrooms and the fridge was off tilt making the ice maker not work at times. I would not recommend this Condo Complex as it feels very unsafe. We opened a door by the elevator, looking for the garbage, to find the electrical panel with an open drop. Any adult or child could have easily fallen down from the 18th floor. We let the staff know as the door should have been locked. Little kids were playing up and down the hall ways during our stay. All of our stays with Mazatlan for rent have been a wonderful experience however this building is awful. Thank you!

They rented a house to us for a month that they knew had problems. They did not mention that in their ads or in their communication with us but admitted that after we discovered them. The blinds were missing the pieces to cover the windows so there was no privacy. The sofa had the stuffing oozing out of the cushions which were carefully placed to hide that when we arrived. As soon as we sat on them we had dirty foam shreds coming out which they hid from us. I wonder how many people sat on this gross foam with wet bathing suits or suntan lotion that got shoved back inside the cover? They told us they had been chasing the owner to fix those but they couldn't get him to. We also found an entire inside wall of the closet covered with black mold and peeling paint. If that wasn't enough, the clothes washer had rust on the fabric softener dispenser with plastic shreds falling from the inner tub to where clothes would be. We rented it in good faith but they disclosed nothing While they offered us a quick fix if we stayed and apologized profusely, at the same time, they offered us the option to move out with a "full refund" of our 1 months prepaid rent. We took that offer and moved out right away. We found another place with no issues or arguments. They did not say anything but a full refund, no mention of anything but a full refund, We found this to be fair and honorable because this home was unsafe and unrentable due to the mold. The owner of the company was there with us and he is an American so he cannot use the excuse of not understanding health risks. We had to wait two weeks for our refund only to find it was not a full refund, it was partial with numerous petty deductions like admin fees, cleaning fees and more. These deductions amounted to hundreds of dollars. On top of that, their billing invoice is vague at best so it's extremely difficult to know what they refunded and what they held back. When we called them about these things, they were no longer apologetic, and instead of politely handling an upset customer who had legitimate concerns, they became aggressive and argumentative. We also emailed them 2 weeks after that to give them a chance to refund the held money. They did not and they did not even reply to explain their position, they ignored us. I'm sure they will reply to say we're unreasonable and they will claim they had the right to hold our money. Had they mentioned there would be deductions at the start, had they even offered an explanation before we received the partial refund, perhaps they could justify their position. They didn't and reneged on their promise. The bottom line is they voluntarily offered a Full Refund, we did not ask and chose to not honor their promise! Our rating is purely because of the broken promise and lack of transparency. If we could do 0 stars, we would. We definitely would recommend dealing somewhere else.

My husband and I had the best experience with Bernardo at Mazatlan4Sale. Bernardo was the agent for the seller, but he helped us as buyers in numerous ways. For example, he arranged for excellent contractors to do repairs and maintenance in our "new" home and ensured the work was done satisfactorily. Bernardo's motto appears to be "always keep the customers happy" and he definitely lives up to that. Mazatlan4Sale also holds Art Festivals throughout the high season where 100% of all donations go to a local non-profit organization. "The Gems of Mazatlán Education Fund". Nice that Mazatlan4Sale also gives back to the local community. We can't thank Bernardo enough for all he has done for us. We highly recommend him and his team.

We had the most wonderful experience at El Delfin. Every aspect of their service was impeccable. The house was clean and well maintained. The transfers were professional and on time. The chefs were SPECTACULAR!!!! The food was amazing. Everyone of us want to go back and would recommend this home and company to friends and family.

The staff from Mazatlan4Rent were very helpful in making our trip to Mazatlan very positive and enjoyable. When minor inconveniences arose they communicated well with us and made sure our needs were addressed. The communication between Mazatlan4Rent and the property staff was also quick and efficient. Having good communication between the agency, property management and the individual renter is so crucial and our experience with them was great. Thank you!

I really liked the Casa Venus house; I stayed at several different places in Mexico and I’d say it’s one of my favorites. I stayed in April so the weather was pleasant; it would get hot at times but never to the point where I needed to turn on the A/C. Plenty of fans around the house if you need them. It has a solid, well-equipped kitchen, (you can cook food pretty quickly with the industrial stove top flames!), having a washer and dryer was super convenient, the shower always had hot water and good water pressure, the bed was comfortable, I enjoyed the little balcony that has a hammock, and it’s in a convenient location in the Centro. (You’ll occasionally hear loud city noises; that will be inevitable in any good location in a city.) The neighborhood itself is mostly quiet, and neighbors were helpful, and kind. I felt safe walking around at all times. The two issues I had was that I was locked out once because there’s some kind of security lock that prevented anyone from unlocking the door with the key, but they sent a guy to help me get in. (These locks on the lock are common in Mexico; be careful with them!) The second issue is that there was a crack in the ceiling so tiny bits of material from the roof would fall onto the bed sometimes, but a guy came by to help seal the crack. Insofar as the agency, I can only speak of my experience with Noehmi and Angela whom I found to be super responsive and nice. I feel like the price I was given was fair for the season. I would stay with them again. My friend recommended Angela, and an expat neighbor dropped by to see if Angela was around to say hi, so I feel like Angela is trustworthy and well-liked. :) I believe the owners also live there occasionally so they keep it clean and well-maintained.
