If you have read any of my previous fast food reviews, you know that the things that I think differentiate a good fast food place from a mediocre place is cleanliness and service. I stopped at this Veracruz location for a quick bite. I was absolutely thrilled with the friendliness of the staff. The young man at the counter was happy to help me with my Spanish when it was obvious that I wasn’t comprehending. The manager (a beautiful and friendly young lady) came up and started joking about the cashier not using his English. He admitted that it was hard to converse and I told him that I felt the same. We all had a good laugh. The food was good, the jalapeño salsa next to the ketchup was fantastic...wish they had this in the USA. The restaurant was very clean and was being attended too continuously by a dedicated employee. Two side comments: McD’s apple pies are still fried in Mexico (yum) and Ronald McDonald is still sitting outside waiting for pictures!
