I went to dinner with my family and everything was going well until we realized that the soft drinks do not have a refill, when asking the employees they point to the notice that it is in the soft drink machine (turned off by the way) and has a sign that says that by the Covid-19 situation, refill drinks are no longer served, I understand that if we were at the beginning or middle of the pandemic, but today 2 years later and with the authorization of the state government itself to open the spaces as a restaurant to the general public without any type of restriction due to Covid, they are still in that position of not giving refills, as they expect you to finish your order with just a glass of soda, we are at the beginning of summer, the heat is unbearable in the branch next to the windows and only having a glass of soda without a refill is not what I look for in a McDonald's, last week I went to Carl's JR and without any problems I served myself a refill soda, and 2 weeks before that I went to the Burger King on Sendero San Nicolás and also without problems m I served refill drinks, and going back to the situation of the McDonald's branches, I have gone to the one in the center of Monterrey in Hidalgo, to the one in Gonzalitos and to this one in San Nicolás in Plaza Bella and they all have that restriction, so you already know public in In general, if you don't want to struggle with just the soda in a single glass and spend more, better go to another chain while McDonald's considers opening the refill again, and that I like their hamburgers better but I will choose to wait for their attitude and their no refill policy.
