What a great place Mel’s Casa Social is! Before we visited Ajijic, we had done quite a bit of research and Mel’s came up on FB many times - always with some fun activity, some wonderful music, or an impromptu party atmosphere. We visited Friday afternoon and were welcomed like regulars. Bianka, our bartender, was so friendly and attentive, we couldn’t have asked for anyone sweeter. Mel was busy greeting guests, making all feel like friends she’d invited into her backyard oasis. (By the way, Mel is a lovely young woman; not at all the older man I was expecting!? The property has many activities - pickle ball court, a pool, ping pong, pool, giant jenga, etc. If you’re looking for something to do, this is your place! We lucked out showing up on Friday, and we’re treated to some fantastic live Blues and Jazz. Do yourself a favour and try to visit when there’s music. It’s Happy Hour all the time at Mel’s. We enjoyed some great pub snacks with our beverages and it was very affordable. Thank you to Mel and Bianka for making us feel at home on our second day in Ajijic. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next day! (And, we’ll be back when we visit again!)

Winding paths lead visitors through a spacious property of pools, bars, activity centers, card tables, pickleball courts, and more. The owners, staff, and patrons are all friendly and helpful.

Just celebrated a birthday party and pickleball get-together. Good food, great service. Lots of fun. Really well done. Gracias to Mel and your team! ?

Had another great meal at Mel’s today!! Not had a bad meal here yet. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to come hangout and chill. Or meet friends for a drink. It’s a great place for families too! Lots of games for kids and adults!

So much fun today at Mel’s listening to excellent live music, drinking great brews, and enjoying the vibe. Fellow patrons said they enjoyed the meals they’d ordered.

Excellent bar/grill/leisure venue Set in an expansive courtyard, Mel's is one of those hidden gems you can walk past a dozen times without ever noticing. Yet once you step through the gate, you'll find a warm welcome, great food, cold beer, and all kinds of available activities, including a lare pool, a pickleball court, pingpong tables, pool tables, and more. Populated by a friendly, eclectic crowd of expats, Mel's is the perfect place to while away a warm, sunny afternoon. Highly recommended

Another great Birthday event at Mel's Casa Social. Thanks again Mel, Bianca and all of your wonderful staff. Everyone had fun, the food was delicious (Best Avocado Toast I've ever had!!!) and playing the games was like being a kid again. Love Mel's Casa Social...Love Mel & Bianca and all of her staff. ?
