★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first visit to Meraki Bistro will not bo our LAST! I was too busy diving into my plates to. get a photo but I remembered to get one of Judi's Cucumber Salad. Its presentation will give you an idea of the caliber of their kitchen. Portions were just right, not too much or too little... Please go there when you get a chance!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is mixed review because some things were wonderful but overall the kitchen was extremely slow considering how few customers they had...the duck confit dumpling was too much dumpling for the filling and hard to eat...the Caesar salad was excellent...then the pork butt was the best dish we had outstanding...the jambalaya was tasteless and not even close to what it should be... dessert's were ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place! Fantastic chef & waiter, both are super personable and interesting.
Great outside space/ambiance/music/vibe etc. Great live music at least once a week.
Drinks are delicious, I especially like the Ginger Jack, it's hard to find spicy drinks and it has probiotics in it so I can pretend it's healthy. Cucumber love was also great, also spicy.
Both the shrimp toast and shrimp cake lollipop are excellent, but heed the "small plates" title.
Jambalaya was excellent, full portion size.
Ice cream sandwich was very interesting, definitely would recommend!

We had an amazing drink and foodie experience!
Our friend suggested we let Chef Joel work his magic bringing us tapas as various courses. He asked if we had any food allergies and we enjoyed so many tasty items. Wish I had taken pictures of each one as the presentation was as amazing as the flavors.
We will be returning this week to introduce our friends to this great Ajijic find!
We give it a 5 YUM rating!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The personal is very attentive, cozy place, they had relaxing live music but the kitchen is crazy slow and need to work specially on the flavors and portions.
The texture of the duck dumplings were terrible, almost like I was chewing silicone. I'm sorry I didn't like the food in general.
