★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was out for a walk and came upon this mercado. What a great discovery. Unlike many mercados that have a wide variety of goods, this one is almost all food. The produce is beautiful. I found things here like whole grains that I haven't seen anywhere else. It takes up an entire city block and there are more stores on the surrounding streets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite little market in Guadalajara. Has fresh, tasty everything on a good price. One great coffee/molletes place ("21st century coffee") and one amazing lonche place on the ground floor in the centre of the market.
