★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a good place to get a good fatty breakfast. I personally love the shrimp empanadas, turkey suaves, cochinita tacos, chocolate drinks, and more local food. Besides that, they have an interesting and cheap selection of home items, knives, clothes and general stuff. There is a butchery area and a fishing area where you can find fresh meat and seafood. You can also find mexican witchery there if you want to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great source for fresh fish, produce, and cheap local food like tortas de cochinita or panuchos. Also a great place to see a lot of birds! They hang out both outside the market as well as inside where they sit watching and waiting for a chance to steal some of the fish for sale below. It’s a must see in Carmen and a place you could visit everyday and still see new things.
